ABOUT THE AUTHORS

Yellow Class 2021-22

Our Yellow Class Students have taken time to learn, reflect, and discuss various attributes of individuality and identity. They have been diligent to practice self-reflection while discovering the social aspects of being a good friend. As a culminating project to celebrate their work on friendship, the students created Friendship Flowers that express qualities of a good friend and a Friendship Quilt that incorporates thoughtful patchwork pieces inspired by their idea of friendship. These testimonial pieces of camaraderie, circumvent a class poem that compiles words and phrases directly from students' writing. Students were then tasked with illustrating each line of the poem. This book is the result of their hard work, love for each other, and discovery of friendship. We hope you enjoy it!
