Her legs are so thin! Her hair is as brown as caramel. Her eyes are like the ocean. She lives in a large manor. Her bedroom looks like Barbie's bedroom. She likes going shopping and she kidnaps men and eats them. She doesn't like mayonnaise ! She is very beautiful: so watch out ! Watch out or she will catch you out ! Eliott and Alexandre

R is for Rossilia. “My favorite meal is to eat children . . .” Rossilia is an old smelly witch that lives in Tourettes-sur-Loup. Her teeth are as black as peat. Her arms are like tentacles. She lives in an old shelter in the woods. The garden looks like a graveyard. She loves playing, killing kids and eating them. She doesn't like seeing happy children! She can jump on you: so watch out ! Watch out or she will catch you out ! Maxence and Noé

V is for Virgette "" I love children, you are delicious with mustard and bread ." Virgette is a bad and messy witch that flies on a carpet. Her nose is so small ! Her hair is as red as fire. Her feet are like trees. She lives in a manor. The radiator looks like a nose with nostrils. She traps children and eats them. She doesn' t like chocolate mousse ! She can hit you hard : so watch out ! Watch out or she will eat you up ! Juliette

J is for Jane "Dragon of hope, please come and help me save the world !" Jane is good and young witch that flies with her power. Her nose is so small! Her hair is as black as obsidian. Her arms are like bones. She lives in a house. The door looks like sticks. She protects the Earth and creates potions. She doesn't like monsters! She can throw fireballs : so watch out ! Watch out or she will burn you out ! Jonas&nbsp;and Léon

A is for Alima. Alima is a horrible and nasty witch. She lives in a haunted house but more particularly in the main room, a bedroom that looks like a graveyard. She has got a big nose and hooked fingers and her arms are like snakes. The witch likes biting children and eating them while always saying «&nbsp;Mamma Mia, don’t they look good!&nbsp;» She casts spells and scares children but like everyone, Alima has a weak point: she hates good smells! So be careful, she can be anywhere! Milla and Letizia

Y is for Yashiwa Terro. "Come, come little cutie, come play with me!" Yashiwa Terro is a little young witch that plays with other children and kills them. Her hair is so long! Her eyes are as grey as silver. She is the size of a chair. She lives in an ordinary house. The inside looks like a cemetery. She kills children and leaves them dead with potting soil. She doesn't like cute and clever children. She can kill you very fast: so watch out ! Watch out or she will catch you out ! Elina and Luz

G is for Grace "Come to me, I will give you delicacy" Grace is a nasty and very monstrous witch that flies through the air on a gryphon. Her nose is so scary! Her teeth are as sharp as knives. Her arms are like spaghetti ! She lives in a haunted castle. The bedroom looks like a cellar. She scares pets and kidnaps dogs. She doesn't like puppies and kittens. She can kill them with her gryphon : so watch out ! Watch out or she will catch them out ! &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ava and Lily

Z is for Zorbubla "Come my child, let me show you a trick.” Zorbubla is a good funny witch that flies through the sky on a circus cannon. Her mouth is so large and covered in pink lipstick. Her hair is as blue as the Ocean. Her feet are like flippers. She lives in funny house. The garden looks like a circus. She invites children and plays tricks and cracks jokes. She can fly very fast: so watch out ! Watch out and you'll see her in the moonlight ! Matteo and Ethan

U is for Uguette. "Eat ! " Uguette is a dangerous and mysterious witch that eats humans. Her mouth is so giant! Her fingers are as sharp as knives. Her arms are like roots. She lives in a burrow. The garden looks like a graveyard. She poisons children and takes them home. She doesn't like to be exposed to light. She can get into people's houses: so watch out ! Watch out or she will catch you out ! Vincent and Loïc

X is for Xaninax. "I will crush you little flies that you are !" Xaninax is a small ugly witch that rides a unicycle. Her nose is so strange ! Her dress is as fluorescent as the sun. Her arms are like beamers. She has a fluorescent yellow straw hat and a fluorescent blue bandana. She wears fluorescent red jeans and fluorescent green panties. She walks with fluorescent beige slippers. She covers herself with a fluorescent orange blazer. She lives in a little house. The roof looks like a pizza. She kidnaps children and roasts them! She doesn't like lean children! She can ride a unicycle : so watch out ! Watch out or she will catch you out ! Clément and César

O is for Ortancia "Approach ! Come closer children, I will not hurt you !" Ortancia is a monstrous nice witch that flies through the sky. Her nose is so delightful! Her hair is as brown as a tree trunk. Her arms are like sausages. She lives in a magical house. The bathroom looks like the ocean. She helps children and protects them. She doesn't like horrible monsters! She can be nasty if you hurt children : so watch out ! Watch out or she will catch you out ! Lee and Heidi

E is for Elizabeth “I am not a witch !” Elizabeth is a fearsome witch that is elegant. Her nose is so hooked ! Her hair is as curly as red wool ! Her arms are like sticks. She lives in a scary house The whole house looks like candy . She catches children and tickles them ! She doesn’t like pink shoes She can make bubbles : so watch out ! Watch out or she will catch you out ! Noah

P is for Polette “Those who approach me will suffer the fate of the great and magnificent Polette !” Polette is a terrible old witch that eats children Her nose is so big. Her hair is as black as terror. Her arms are like branches. She lives in a haunted house. The garden looks like a cemetery. She attracts children and eats them She doesn't like to be kind. She can be terrible : so watch out ! Watch out or she will catch you out ! Léna and Laura

B is for Betty "I despise them !” Betty is an ordinary small witch that flies&nbsp;the air on trash. Her nose is so small and pointed ! Her hair is as dark as coal. Her skinny arms are like&nbsp;noodles. She lives in a villa on the French Riviera. The windows of her house look like cats. She captures children and turns them into&nbsp;frogs. She can be very scary : so watch out ! Watch out or she will catch you out ! Ruben and Anthony

S is for Scarliona ”Sa, So, Si, I will eat you like a candy… Yummy Yummy !!!” Scarliona is an ugly tall and big witch that kills English teachers. Her nose is hooked. Her hair is made of snakes. Her arms are made of metal and as long as an octopus. She lives in a small cottage in the forest. She has a big cauldron. She captures English teachers and cooks them… … because she doesn’t like English ! She can hear English from a distance ! Watch out or she will catch you out ! Arthur

N is for Night Witch " May my Powers make you shiver ! Your dreams will turn into real nightmares !" Night Witch is an old witch that flies with her black cape and her luminous blue scepter. She turns people who look at her glow to stone. Her eyes are so terrifying because they are hidden by her pointy hood. Her long and blue hair is as luminescent as the moon. Her face is wrinkled. She lives in a secret cave. The front door looks like a magical gate. She takes dreams away from people and turns them into nightmares. She doesn’t like the day, she lives at night. She can turn anyone to stone and any dream to a nightmare: so watch out ! Watch out or she will change you into an old statue ! Jonas and Maehiti

M is for Mira Tino “ Within 3, 2, 1 ... I'll hear you !” Mira Tino is an angry and sad witch who wants to kill anyone who comes close to her. Her nose is so big ! Her legs are as tall as the Eiffel Tower. Her arms are like skyscrapers. She lives in the forest. The kitchen looks like a torture chamber. She puts children in the oven and roasts them ! She doesn't like adults either. She can teleport : so watch out ! Watch out or she will catch you out ! Anthony and Hamza

R is for Robin &lt;&lt;Come my pretty! Follow me to try my delicious spaghetti ! &gt;&gt; Robin is a beautiful and mysterious witch that runs as quick as The Flash. Her nose is so cute ! Her eyes are as black as black a hole. Her arms are like feathers. She lives in a manor. Her bedroom looks like a bin. She kidnaps children and eats their guts. She doesn't like good children. She can run very fast : so watch out ! Watch out or she will catch you out ! Matisse and Augustin

Q for Qwentalina &lt;&lt; Come, come and buy my potion !!! &gt;&gt; Qwentalina is a pretty young witch that is a potion seller. Her hair is so curly red ! Her eyes are as black as the night. Her fingers are like tentacles She lives in a cottage in the woods The kitchen looks like a laboratory. She helps people and they thank her She doesn't like rude people ! She can change you into any thing if you are nasty with her : so watch out ! Watch out or she will catch you out ! Ninon and Pauline

N is for Nastya. “Come my little kittens, don’t be afraid of me ! &nbsp;I’d like to have you for my stew tonight.” Nastya is a repugnant old witch that cooks children with bechamel. Her nose is so hooked! Her arms are as wrinkled as prunes. Her nails are like ski slopes. She lives in a forest. Her fridge looks like a cauldron. She kidnaps children and cooks them! She doesn’t like babies! She can transform: so watch out ! Watch out or she will catch you out ! Molly and Manel

T is for Thing “Come my children I ‘ll eat you if your name starts with E or M !” Thing is a fat and nasty witch that eats children Her nose is so big !!!!!!! Her hair is as green as an alien from planet Mars ! Her arms are like chips. She lives on top of a scary mountain. Her living-room looks like a car. She eats children and drinks eyes. She doesn't like small kids. She can run really fast : so watch out ! Watch out or she will catch you out ! Noa and Louis

La Colle-sur-Loup, juin 2022 Ce livre a été conçu par les élèves de deux classes de 6ème du collège Yves Klein de la Colle-sur-Loup. Nous avons travaillé sur un texte de Baba Yaga tiré de l'album "M is for Monster: A Fantastic Creatures Alphabet" de J. Patrick Lewis. Les élèves ont imaginé des sorcières drôles ou effrayantes , les ont illustrées puis ont enregistré leurs textes afin d'offrir à leurs partenaires de CM2 des écoles Noël Lanza et Daniel Pennac une moment de lecture en pleine autonomie. She puts old PEOPLE to sleep and she takes their white hair to cast spells on them. She doesn't like young people. She can see very far : so watch out, OLD PEOPLE ! F is for Fifollete. “I love my pupils!” Fifollete is a gentle witch. Her hair is as long as a rope. Her arms are like branches. She lives in Saint-Paul-de-Vence . Her house looks like a vase ! She works in a school and loves children but she doesn’t like adults ! She can transform everything into food to please children: so watch out ! Watch out or she will catch adults out ! W is for Wellet "Come here my little ones , come here! Wellet is a montruous witch that makes powerful potions. Her nose is so long! Her hair is as white as snow. Her arms are like spaghetti. She lives in the forest Her kitchen looks like a children’s laboratory She kills children and cooks lasagna with their flesh. She can hear everything from far : so watch out ! K is for Kakawai "Do you want candy, my little honey?" Kakawai is a tall and old witch that scares children. Her nose is so big ! Her hair is as blue as the sky. Her arms are like peanuts.
