Welcome to Croatia

Croatia is located in the north-western part of the Balkan Peninsula.
Its capital is Zagreb, in the North.
It joined the European Union in 2013.

Its borders are Serbia, Hungary, Slovenia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and it overlooks the Adriatic Sea.
The climate is continental with warm summers and cold winters, and a milder climate in the valleys.

-Visit to Vransko natural park and Vrana lake Nin. the Church of the Holy Cross, stone bridge, Gregory of Nin , the Old Gate and a saltmaker with salted bar of chocolate specialities

THIRD DAY 17/11/2021

MORNING
-Visit to the association MoST where the topic "Poverty stains on the conscience of mankind” was introduced.
Workshop on SDGs and kahoot quiz.

EVENING
Gala dinner at IV. Gymnasium Marko Marulic, with a huge buffet with savouries and desserts and after that....
to the beach all together!!!!!

-MORNING
Visit to Waterfalls of Krka national park, Sibenik the oldest Croatian coastal town on the Adriatic Sea, Primosten, a medieval Mediterranean fishing village and Trogir a historic harbour- an UNESCO World Heritage site.

MORNING
- Creation of "sites.google.com" with GOOGLE SITES.
- Workshop on more SDGs, using GOOGLE PRESENTATION and SOCRATIVE game and after that,
visit to entrepreneurial hub at the Economics Faculty for a workshop called "Socially useful learning"
