Here is my comic explaining the five themes of geography it shows location, movement, human environment interaction, place, and region

over the next few pages I will be explaining it in more detail for each individual photo

But something to keep in mind is that i should be talking about the themes
The reason I chose this photo to represent location is because location is described by exact place and the real location and i feel like this photo shows a location because it is a location and a important one as well. The reason its important is because it is a historic location that connected the west of Canada and the east so moving people and ideas.
It even has a form of monument signed by all provinces in Canada which shows how important of a location it is.

This photo is showing movement because the train itself is moving but its also moving resources all through Canada including the West it also was used to move people and ideas when trains where more for human transport. Because of the people and ideas it has helped and still helps move the west has become more diverse and prospered which is why i feel like this photo represents movement in a literal and move imaginative sense.
The way this shows place is because you can figure out the place for example the colosseum is a place for many reasons but for my comic i chose i photo of downtown Calgary because i big thing that makes it a place is religions and in the photo there is a Christian building. You can also tell that they value the building because it looks quite old and if they didn’t care about it they would most likely get rid of it. There also is a big building right behind it so you know its not just in some older town. But by far the thing that makes it a place the Calgary tower which is a tower you can see from what felt like all of Calgary. It quite a famous building which nowhere else has one exactly like that which makes it special and important to the people of Calgary.

Another page for what is geography as keystone evidence for the driving question.
This shows region because reigion is how it is similar to other places and if there are any common features about a place. The way that this photo shows region is because it so special but the whole entire region near it looks like that with big mountains and yellow trees the entire area looks majestical and i think a good way to describe region is that the region has common traits like their yellow trees and blue lakes but the rest of that area past the region looks completely different and diverse.
🏔
this photo / drawing was taken on a glacier and i found i very interesting that there was a Canadian flag and a whole industry making profits of the natural environment. What I just said is explaining human environment interaction the way this shows that is that humans claimed the glacier and made paths on to it and shaped parts of it so people can go on safely but they also made it a business to get visitors to canada to come stand on a glacier so that the companies get money
