The French and Indian War took place in 1754 and ended in 1763. The larger conflict that was a part of the war was the fighting for land. This was also called the "Seven Years' War."

The French, British, and American Indian nations fought in the French and Indian War. The Indian Americans fought on both sides. Most of the Indian Americans fought on the French side. Britain had the Haudenosaunee, a strong 6-nation alliance.
Where?
The French and Indian War was fought in the American Colonies. It took place between 1754 and 1763. It was mostly fought on the border between the British Colonies and the French Colonies. The fighting began with the Battle of Monongahela.
