Rue Barnette district 11 tribute

she took one of the tribute knifes when they were in there training room to cause a little fun and to lighting up the mood in the training room only her katniss and rue other tribute notice rue had the knife

she is a twelve year old tribute from distract 11 who was selected to participate in the 74th hunger games Rue formed an alliance with Katniss after warning her about a nest of tracker jackers. Rue decided to trust Katniss partly because of the pin she wore over her heart the pin was a mocking jay pin

When katniss fixed a grave for rue when she died. It was a special scene cause she showed she cared for rue like prim.

Tracker Jacker attack

In this scene, Katniss has to climb in a tree to escape the career tributes. Not one of the careers can make it up to katniss, Cato was too heavy and broke the limbs. Glimmer shot at katniss but wasn't good enough with a bow and arrow. After glimmer waste, a couple of arrows Peta suggest setting up camp and waiting for katniss out. eventually, all the career tributes fall asleep and katniss hears someone else. Katniss heard rue and rue points out the huge nest of tracker jackers and katniss knows what to do. She saws off the branch the nest is on and gets stung three times and then the nest falls and the careers take off and run away. Katniss makes sure the coast is clear and jumps down and starts to steal the bow from glimmers dead body and she hears someone running back. Peta catches up to Katniss and tells her to run so she runs and doesn't look back until she is safe and now the careers have to worry about Katniss with a bow.
