Vorwort

Das Hansa-Gymnasium ist eine UNESCO Projektschule. Und als solche führen wir eine alljährliche Projektwoche durch. Alle Schüler:innen wählen sich in jahrgangsübergreifende Gruppen ein und arbeiten an fünf Tagen u.a. zu den Bereichen Menschenrechts- und Demokratieerziehung, Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung oder Zusammenleben in Vielfalt. Diese Projekte sind mit einer Menge Arbeit, aber auch mit viel Spaß und Kreativität verbunden. Auch dieses Jahr gibt es eine Vielfalt an unterschiedlichsten UNESCO Projekten, über welche Sie in diesem Buch einen Überblick bekommen.

Natur erleben

Am Montag waren wir mit der ganzen Gruppe des "Natur erleben" Projektes im Königsforst. Das ist ein großer Wald außerhalb von Köln. Wir trafen uns um 9 Uhr am Ebertplatz und fuhren dann zusammen mit der Bahn in Richtung Königsforst. Dort wanderten wir den Lehrpfad entlang. Und hörten uns viele Referate die, die Schüler vorbereitet hatten über verschiedene Projekte und Orte im Königsforst an. Danach fuhren wir wieder mit der Bahn nach Hause.
Am Dienstag waren wir im Waldlabor. Das ist ein zum Teil künstlich angelegter Wald im Westen von Köln. Dort angekommen wurden wir von unserem Führer Markus begrüßt. Er erzählte uns viele Fakten über den Wald und seine verschiedenen Bäume. Außerdem hörten wir auch wieder von den Schüler:innen vorbereitete Referate über die vier Waldarten, die im Waldlabor zu entdecken sind, an. Dies sind der Wildniswald, der Energiewald, der Klimawald und der Wandelwald.
