In the Earth Galleries you can see: minerals, ores, rocks and forces of nature.

In the Live Galleries are: amphibeans, reptilies, insects, mammals and birds.

Usually admission is free (there are some exceptions for special exhibitions). Around 5 million people visit the museum every year .

The terrain is in the romance style of the 1860 years.

The Natural History Museum was established in 1873 and it opened 1881.

Beyond the markets If you want to take a break from the crazy and noisy Camden Town Markets, you can visit the Jewish Museum of London, which is in a former piano factory or you can have a walk through the beautiful pastel-coloured Regency houses to Primrose Hill and enjoy the wonderful view from hilltop park on St Paul´s Cathedral and the Houses of Parliament. In 1245 Heinrich III. commissioned the construction of today's church in the style of French high Gothic. The two main towers, on the other hand, were only built between 1722 and 1745 by Christopher Wren, Nicholas Hawksmoor and John James, who also adopted the Gothic style. Purbeck marble was used for the stonework and floors of Westminster Abbey, although the various tombstones are made from different types of marble.

The museum's collections include a collection of royal burial objects, a number of medieval glasses, sculptural fragments from the 12th, wax figures by Horatio Nelson and Prime Minister William Pitt showing them in some of their original clothing.

In Camden Town you can get in touch with the subculture seven days a week. It doesn´t cost anything to get in, but it is impossible not to buy any souvenirs! I bought a pocket watch and my mom a dress and a pullover.

Camden Town was also the location for the TV serie Fleabag and for movies like The Hitman’s Bodyguard,&nbsp;Sherlock,&nbsp;Jekyll &amp; Hyde&nbsp;and&nbsp;Call the Midwife.

Many famous music bands and singers (such as U2, Oasis, Franz Ferdinand, Snow Patrol, Prince, The Clash and many others) performed in Camden Town bars and pubs, like Camden Assembly, The Underworld Camden and The Good Mixer. I play drum set, I love music and my dream is to hear a live concert in one of these bars one day.

The famous singer Amy Winehouse lived and died in Camden Town. In 2014 a bronze statue of the singer was revealed.

Camden Town markets Everyone who visits London wants to see

but when I was in London, I was mostly impressed by the Camden Town Markets. The first market in Camden Town was the Inverness Street Market, whose original fruit stands are nowadays very few. In 1973 Camden Lock Market<a href="http://www.visitlondon.com/things-to-do/place/36084336-camden-lock-market"> </a>was born: here you can buy handcrafts, books, clothes, jewels and fast food.

Other street markets started then around Camden Lock Market: Camden Lock Village&nbsp;(clothes, accessories and many unusual things); Camden Market&nbsp;(its original name was Buck Street. This market sells fashion for all tastes); Stables Market&nbsp;(a mix of permanent shops and stands, which sell things for the house, antiques, alternative clothes and food); Camden High Street&nbsp;(big fashion brands and vintage clothes stores).

How to get there Via London Underground: Camden Town station is situated on the Northern Line. The shops and stands of the market are spread out along two streets, Camden High Street and Chalk Farm Road. By Train: the nearest station is St. Pancras (a 25-minute walk). By Bus: Via routes 24, 29 and 134 from London’s West End.

The London Eye is also known as the Millennium Wheel. It is in central London, on the south bank of the Thames, near Westminster Bridge. It is considered one of the landmarks of the British capital. Construction began in 1998. On October 10, 1999, the construction was finished. The opening was postponed to March 9th due to technical problems.

The problem with the planning at the time was that sailing ships were not allowed to be hindered from their journey to the Pool of London. The solution was a combined construction of a suspension and folding bridge, nine metres above the Thames, which still works today. At a maximum opening, the moving parts of the bridge are pulled up to an angle of 86 degrees. Nowadays, however, this is only necessary for large cruise ships, because on this part of the river there are almost only tourist boats. As a result, the bridge now only opens about 1000 times a year. The traffic flowing over them, on the other hand, never stopped: 40,000 cars cross Tower Bridge every day. For a special view of the city, pedestrians can walk the elevated footbridges between the 65-metre-high bridge towers, where a glass-bottomed observation deck has recently been built. The Victorian engine rooms, from where the bridge's hydraulics are set in motion, can also be visited. An exhibition in the bridge towers informs about the long history of the city landmark.

The Natural History Museum is located in London and is one of the largest natural history museums in the world. The exact location in London is on Exhibition Road in the London borough of South Kensington.

In the museum are more than 70 milion diferrent objects. Some of them are dinosaur bones, fossils (under it is an Archaeopteryx), and a 30 meters skeleton of a blue whale. Also there is the biggest meteorite collection of the world.

The open times are every day between 10 o´clock and 17 o´clock. From the 24 december until the 26 december is the museum closed.

At the moment the tower is renovated. The work started in the year 2017, but it isn't finished yet. Now the bells aren't ringing anymore because of the renovation. Only on special days like the new years eve. In the future nobody is going to have to go 334 steps upstaires to come to the bells because then there is going to be a lift.

The construction start of the bridge began on June 21,&nbsp;1886.The&nbsp;opening took place on June 31, 1894.

Tower Bridge is centrally located in London and connects Tower Hamlets with the Southwark borough.

The length of the bridge is 244 meters.

In the tower there are 5 bells. "Great Bell" or "Big Ben" is the biggest and weighs 13,5 tonnes. Its nickname is also "Voice of Britain".It isn´t sure where the name "Big Ben" comes from. Maybe Sir Benjamin Hall, the first commissioner of works at the time of installation of the bell was the man, who gives the bell its name. Or it was Benjamin Caunt, the champion of heavyweight boxing. The name of the four other bells is quater bells. They ring every 15 minutes and "Big Ben" only at the full hour.

What It's Like At The Official Harry Potter Set At Warner Bros. London Studio

In October 1834 a fire destroyed the old palace. So Charles Barry designed the new palace of Westminster which has two towers. For the clock tower he asked another architect called Augustus Pugin. He designed the tower in a gothic style. Thomas Grissel and Morton Peto built "Big Ben" from 1845 to 1859.

Camden Town history The London Borough of Camden was created in 1965 and is a district of northwest London. Its name comes from the first Earl Camden, Charles Pratt, who started the development of the area in 1791 and made it a residential borough. At the beginning the heart of the borough, Camden Town, was just made of few buildings and a main street. Camden Town´s expansion started with the opening of the Regent's Canal to traffic in 1820.

The improvement of the transport and the arrival of the railway stations, Euston (1837), King's Cross (1852), and St Pancras (1868) pushed the local industrialisation and the employment: Camden Town became a production centre for pianos, organs, forniture and scientific instruments. Nowadays the industrial activity is very little, but Camden Town remains an important commercial centre. The Camden´s markets started in 1973, grew since then and attract many tourists. In 1993 a bomb&nbsp;injured 18 people on&nbsp;Camden High Street. On 9 February 2008 there was a big fire in Camden Canal market, luckly without any injuries.

George Airy and Edmund Beckitt Denison were the designers and Erward John Dent started to build the clock of "Big Ben". Frederick Dent finished the work when his stepfather Edward John Dent died. The tower has four clock-faces. One on each side. The clock of "Big Ben" is the second biggest clock in Great Britain and it's the biggest clock with four sides in the world. The dials are 7 metres big. The minute hand is 4,3 metres long and the hour hand is 2,75 metres long. Four mechanicans look after the clock, so that the clock works. Their name is "Keeper of the Great Bell".

The name "Big Ben" isn´t the right name of the tower. Until September 2012 the people called it "clock tower". Then the people named it "Elizabeth tower" because Queen Elizabeth celebrated that she had been queen for 60 years. But many people call the tower also "Big Ben" because "Big Ben" is the name of the biggest bell in the tower. The tower is 96 metres high and it has got 11 floors. "Big Ben" is one of the most famous symbols of London. People know "Big Ben" all over the world. You can only go into the tower if you are an English citizen. In the tower there is a prison room. But since 1880 there has been no prisoner there.

Westminster Abbey, in German it means Westminster Abtei or Westminsterabtei (actually The Collegiate Church of St Peter, Westminster), is a church in London. It is located in the City of Westminster west of the Palace of Westminster. Traditionally, the kings of England (today: Kings of Great Britain and Northern Ireland) are crowned and buried here. The collegiate church of St. Peter's Collegiate Monastery, Westminster belongs to the Church of England, but due to its function it does not belong to a diocese, but rather a separate church (royal peculiar) of the British monarchy, comparable to exempte monasteries in the Roman church. Hence their chief clergyman, the Dean of Westminster, is appointed directly by the British monarch.
