In a small town lived a girl named Aliana. She was curious and adventurous. She loved to solve mysteries and figure out the truth behind every story.
She always dreamed of becoming a detective and solving mysteries, just like her favorite TV character, Sherlock Holmes. Her parents were once great detectives; they always told her stories about the adventures they went on and taught her everything she knew about being a great detective.

But there was one great problem that Aliana wasn’t quite ready for. Over the weekend, while Aliana was out in the park trying to figure out who stole the cookies at the town bake sale earlier that day, her parents called her home to have dinner and talk about the upcoming changes in the family's lifestyle.

But as soon as she started going to school, she realized that fitting in wasn't going to be easy. Aliana was different from the other kids. She was smart, curious, and always asking questions, which made her the target of the class bully, Jamelia.
Every day, Jamelia and her friends would push Aliana around, call her names, and make fun of her clothes. The kids teased her because she was different and didn't know anything about the city. Aliana tried to ignore them and focus on her studies, but it was hard when they made fun of her every chance they got. She felt lonely and isolated at school, but she didn't give up. She knew that she was meant to solve mysteries and that her time would come.
