Lizards live in places such as deserts, forests, prairies, marshes, and rocky areas. Most lizards live on the ground or in trees.

What do lizards eat?

Lizards eat a wide variety of worms, spiders, beetles, and flies, and other insects. Lizards also eat gut loaded insects, other small animals like baby birds, baby mice, or smaller lizards. Sometimes lizards also eat stuff like eggs, fruits, vegetables, and even larger preys.

How the lizards body structure helps it to adapt to the environment.

Lizards can detach their tails, this can distract their predators and give them time to escape.

Some lizards can camouflage, by camouflaging , lizards can hide from birds and reduce the risk of being attacked by birds.

Lizards can walk on water. This ability is essential to escape predators and hunt down insects.

Lizards can reproduce by themselves(reproduce asexually), this can make sure they have offspring.

Lizards shoot blood from their eye when they feel threatened by a predator, as a result the predator is often frighten and flee. If not then the lizards have time to escape from the predator.

Gila Monster (Named because they were found on Arizona's Gila river Basin, named after it).

Satanic Leaf-Tailed Gecko (Named because of its appearance, colored like leaves and hangs from branches like leaves. "Satanic" Since of its devilishly pointy ridges over its eyes).

Thorny Dragon (Named after a human sacrifice god, inspired by a poem called "paradise lost").

Komodo Dragon (Named because it's a common name from rumors of a dragon type lizard occurring on an island).
