My Thoughts on the Project I liked how the project explored many different styles of poetry and poetic devices. I enjoyed sharing my likes and my world view on different aspects of my life. I liked how we could design our e books with different backgrounds and there were many cool options to choose from. My favourite poems that I wrote is but I enjoyed writing haikus best as they are short and easy. I found ‘the found poem’ most difficult because I had to use other peoples words to express myself. This project was pretty poggers and taught me that there is more than one type of poem and they can be a fun way to share your thoughts and ideas.

You can’t run from time

The sun dashes into the sky, chasing the moon away 
Here comes another day
The hands on the clock roam round and round, hour after hour 
The minutes tiptoe behind, creeping up with power
Seconds steal your life today, waiting for decay
Time won’t stop to stay and play
The years swoop down on you like an owl in the night 
As time moves on your body learns to fight
Time runs faster as you get older 
You pass away and your body gets colder
So live for the here and now, enjoy what can 
As before you know it you will be an old man

Hi I’m Caden I’m in grade 8 and I live in Vancouver, but I was born in London, England. I have one sister and live with her, my mum and her partner. My dad lives in England with his girlfriend and his cat (Luna). I have a dog (Bohdi) who I love. I am allergic to nuts and fish, root vegetables, cats and dust mites, some dogs… blah blah…I could go on..basically the story is I have a lot of allergies. When I was younger I had viral meningitis and was in hospital for over a week. My best friend is called Raphi and he also lives in the UK, we used to do a lot of parkour together but now we game together at the weekends via xbox live gold as he is 8 hours ahead of us in time. I started modelling at the age of 2 and did lots of photo shoots and TV adverts until I was 11 but I stopped when I moved to Canada. I am really into gaming and You Tube and I have an adopted donkey called Billy O.

My Dog is way better than a cat!
