Open the Book Creator App.
You may wish to read and experiment with the Book Creator 'Getting Started' sample eBook.
Tap New Book in the top right of the screen or the Plus symbol at the bottom of the screen and then select New Book.
Choose between Portrait, Square and Landscape.
To add content to a page, tap the '+' symbol in the top right of the screen.
The drop down menu will provide options to add Text or Photos (includes video also), take a photo (or video) with the iPad camera, use the draw tool, record a sound or add music and to add shapes and speech and thought bubbles.
Text - When you select this option, a window will appear where you will type your text. Formatting can be done at a later stage. To return to this text box to edit your work, double tap the text box.
Photos - Tap Photos and then select Camera Roll. Add the image (or short video) of your choice.
Use the blue border buttons to resize an image or text box.
Rotate an image using the two finger twist gesture.

In the Text menu, you will have options to format the text i.e. Increase font size, change the font type, change text to bold, italic or underlined, change the font colour, and set alignment (left, centre, middle).
