"Egg and jug"
An experiment on a vacuum-formed egg. Normally, the egg does not fit through the neck of the jug, and when steam is introduced into the jug and suddenly cooled, the steam condenses, creating a vacuum and this enters the egg
Eiridas and his mother used for the experiment:
pitcher with a small neck,
hard boiled egg
hot water,
cold water
Jokūbas experiment
" Rise of water in a glass"
Experiment description:
The experiment required: plates, water, candles, food paint or ink, a jar (we used a vase) and matches
Procedure:
We added water to the plate and painted it with ink. Then we put the candle in the middle of the plate and lit it. We wrapped the burning candle in a vase. As the candle went out, the blue water slowly began to rise through the walls of the vase. Jacob enjoyed observing not only the experiment but also the objects seen through the vase
