It was two days before Valentine's Day and Love Bug Lucy a green-eyed brown haired girl and Mrs.Groves' class was getting ready to put up window clings for Valentine's Day. At recess Love Bug Lucy went to the window to put the window clings up, but to her surprise the window clings were gone! Love bug Lucy was ready to figure out who took the window clings. She decided to keep her eyes and ears open. Love Bug Lucy wondered where the window clings had gone?

First, Love Bug Lucy decided to look for possible suspects in the classroom. Second, she noticed Love Teddy by the stools looking for something. After, Love Bug Lucy walked over and asked," What are you doing?" Love Teddy said," I'm looking for my Valentine cards that I put in here. "They they are," exclaimed Love Teddy. Love Bug Lucy noticed that he didn't look suspicious . She wondered where the window clings had gone?

Finally, Love Bug Lucy noticed Cute Heart in the hallway looking a little suspicious. Love Bug Lucy looked across the hall on her way back from the computer room. Suddenly, she gasped, the window clings were on the back counter! After, she went straight across the hall and asked...'' What are you doing with our window clings?'' I confess.'' said Cute Heart.

Cute Heart explained he was jealous of Love Bug Lucy and her class for having pretty window clings. So, when Love Bug Lucy and her class were doing Valentine's Day breakout boxes in the computer room, he snuck in and stole them! When he heard Love Bug Lucy gasp in the hallway, he felt guilty for taking the window clings. Love Bug Lucy took the window clings from Cute Heart. Cute Heart said, "Sorry." Love Bug Lucy went back to the classroom and put the window clings up on the classroom windows before recess was over. Love Bug Lucy solved the mystery of the missing window clings.
