A Reflection Of You

My experiences are like an expanding dimension, evolving;
stars explode transforming old matter into new elements and undiscovered territories.
My thoughts are like a caterpillar, spinning it’s body into a cocoon,
wether it wants to or not.
An instinct to dissolve,
emerging beautiful and soaring.
My beliefs are like a collection of glass,
some rough and jagged, others smooth and soft.
Worldview is like a reflection of you, unique to the way you live.

Every part of worldview develops over time. They can start off rough and vague but as you progress in life, it becomes more clear and powerful

View Of The Ocean

Worldview is an ocean on a beautiful day.
When the water seems soft and gentle as if it was singing a song.
It seems safe, easy to swim and play in it.
Until the ground disappears and I am left bobbing in something dark and unknown.
Waves crash down upon me, threatening to pull me under.
But try as I might to keep above the water.
The only choices are to keep fighting and struggling.
Or lay back and allow the surface tension to support and carry me
Or even dive beneath and explore ….
Sometimes, exploring new ideas and worldviews can be frightening and unknown. If you take the chance and allow yourself to explore and wander, things don’t seem as bad.

Up on the Hill

I think of her, back there in her garden`
In that cool, still, green corner
I tip toe softly up the hill
Sweet with June lilies and early roses
And the wind sighing, oh, so sorrowfully in the trees
I would not know if it had been real
Or if I had just imagined it all
