The reason why you would want to come to Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina is you will have a protective boarder and it will be hard for the spainish to reach you! These areas have great riches to! The reason we founded these great colonies is to make money.

Georgia

If you’re in debt you’ll wanna come to Georgia. When you come to Georgia you’ll get a free 50 acres of land. Also for every person you bring you get another 50 acres!

Geography

When you live in the Southern Colonies you’ll have very heathy crops the soil is very good. We also have very long growing seasons unlike the other region. We have warm weather including hot and steamy summers . We also have mild winters. That’s another reason why you would want to live here because, our geography!

We truly have hard working people in the southern colonies. Farming is a huge part of the south we have such great weather and soil it helps our economy a lot. We have other jobs like fishing, ship-building, and lumbering. Over here there are many good jobs to do!

New England colonies compared to us

Why would you want to live any where else than the southern colonies. For example the New England colonies. They started the New England colonies so they could purify the Church of England. Also there Geography was horrible they had a rocky coastline so when you would take a boat your ship would take damage when you would try to stop. That’s not it their weather was horrible too! They have long cold winters. Imagine Freezing for a long time. Farming was not one of their traits they have rocky solid and short growing seasons. They had lots of trees, fish, and whales. The only ways you could make money there is to cut down trees, build ships, fish, and do whaleing.
