One morning when I was quickly getting ready for school, I remembered that I was suppose to make a Valentine's Day card for my teacher. So, I quickly ran upstairs to go get it. When I arrived at school, I was going to put the card in the box, when I realized the Valentine box was missing! Who could have taken it?

When I was going to sit down I noticed Alvino making a Valentine's Day card. I told him the box was missing! He didn't seem surprised! I thought he stole the Valentine box, until I saw him put his card in the box. Alvino was shocked when realized the box was missing! I realized Alvino did not steal the box. I wondered who took the Valentine box?

Then I saw Jaylan alone outside. He was looking a little suspicious. So, I went outside to talk to him. I asked him what he was doing. Then he told me that he was making a surprise for the class and he was ordering something. Jaylan did not take the Valentine box, but I wondered who did?

I had lost all hope in finding the Valentine box. I thought I would never find it. Then Mrs. Groves came into the classroom. She told Jaylan and me to go get something from the basement. As we entered the basement, Mrs. Groves came running downstairs. To my surprise, I saw the Valentine box in the basement. Mrs. Groves quickly ran in front of it. "Why did you take the Valentine box," I asked Mrs. Groves.

Mrs. Groves explained to me that she didn't like Valentine's Day and she didn't want are class to celebrate the holiday, so she took the Valentine's Day box. How sad!
