We carried out an investigation looking at oil spills and how detergents can help to clean them up.

The children used a selection of natural objects to create some wonderful pieces of art! Turn over the page to see some examples of their finished work!

The children had a wonderful 'Earth Day', completing different activities throughout the day.

After an assembly all about 'Earth Day', we carried out a bird survey at different locations around school.

The children have also been planting lettuce and potatoes. We're all looking forward to harvesting our crops over the coming weeks!

As part of our Science topic 'Young Gardeners', the children looked at a variety of seeds and bulbs. They discussed similarities and differences between the seeds and were challenged to group them using their own criteria.

The children had great fun making bird feeders and then hanging them up around the school grounds.
