Dream

Kai's best friend, Jay is his best support he's had since they were in 2nd grade. Their relationship means a lot for the both of them. Even though they've had their ups and down, Jay has always had Kai's back.

Kai has always wanted to go to college for free because of basketball. His dream college is LSU. This is also the reason why he pays attention in school and try's his best in everything he does.

Kai plays on his basketball court everyday after practice till it's midnight.

Kai and Jay are excited because they know they get opportunities to meet different people and scouts get to watch him. So that means he has a better opportunity of getting offered to his dream college.

Kai knows that in order him to be successful in basketball, he has to have amazing grades in school. Currently Kai has all a's and a few b's. Since he's in high school he has to keep being on task and take his classes seriously.

Kai's parents always make sure he does what he needs to do and that includes reading everyday, checking his missing work, cleaning the house, taking out the trash, doing his laundry, and more.

Jay supports Kai on his journey to the Nba. Kai even wants Jay to make it to the nba with him and drafted on the same team as him.

It's been 6 months since Jay torn his Acl and it's Kai's last college game and he is having mixed emotions because those years of college were his best years with his teammates, and he can't believe that he's gonna split up with them after this game... They end up winning... 3 months later was draft day. Some of his family members watched him on the tv and some of them went to the draft event, including Jay.

4 years pass by and Kai is finally 18. He gets offered a scholarship to LSU. Sadly his best friend Jay gets a torn Acl...

There was this kid, his name was Kai, he lived in Michigan. His dream was to make it to the NBA. That includes practicing, never giving up, and no horse playing.

All of Kai's hard work finally paid off. He made it to the Nba, he was the 5th draft to the Lakers. Kai was so happy because that's the same team Kobe Bryant was on. When Kai got called up to make his speech he said¨I am so thankful for my family and supporters to be on this wild journey with me, and this journey doesn't stop here. I am going to keep working harder and harder till I can't no more. Do whatever dream makes you happy and you shall achieve it as long as you keep working hard for it.¨

Kai is 14 years old, and he plays in 14-15 AAU basketball. Kai takes his dream to the NBA seriously. He will always try his best no matter what.
