Definition of Song
SONG
a composition of tone or voice in sequence, combination and temporal relation to produce a musical composition that has unity and continuity.
Song is an artistic composition of tones or sounds in sequence, combination, and temporal relationship (usually accompanied by musical instruments) to produce musical compositions that have unity and continuity (contain rhythm). And a variety of rhythmic tones or sounds are also called songs.

4.9 Menangkap makna secara konseptual terkait fungsi social dan unsur kabahasaan lirik lagu terkait kehidupan remaja SMA/MA/SMK/MAK.


1. Setelah menyimak penjelasan guru peserta didik dapat mengidentifikasi fungsi sosial, struktur teks dan unsur kebahasaan lirik lagu sesuai dengan konteks penggunaannya dengan benar.
2. Setelah menyimak penjelasan guru, peserta didik dapat Memahami makna lirik lagu secara kontekstual sesuai dengan fungsi sosial, struktur teks dan unsur kebahasaan yang tepat.
3. Setelah menyimak penjelasan guru, peserta didik dapat Mendapatkan nilai moral dari lirik lagu dengan memberi laporan hasil diskusi kelompok sesuai lagu yang dipilih sesuai dengan fungsi sosial, sesuai dengan konteks penggunaannya dengan tepat.

- Metaphor
Comparing 2 things that are not alike to suggest that they actually have something in common.
- Simile
Comparing two things using "like" or "as"
- Hyperbole
a dramatic language. Big exaggeration, usually with humour.
- Personification
an object appear like a person.
- Allititration
the repetation of the same begining sound in a series of words.
Example :
- metaphor : "Time is a thief"
- Simile : "My love is like a red rose"
- Hyperbole : "That math homework took me 8 milion years to finish"
- Personification : "The wind whisper"
- Allitritation : " Peter parker pick a pack of pants punctually"

Generic Structure of Song
- Intro
the introduction establishes melodic, harmonic, and/or rhythmic related to the main body of song.
- Verse
a series of lyrics that tell the main story of the song and keep the action or thoughts moving forward.
- prechorus
is much less common the chorus but you will run into one occasion.
- Refrain/Chorus
meants to be the most memorable part, containing the ultimate message of the piece.
- Bridge
a passage of music that contrast the verse and the chorus, and is generally used to take the listener from one section to the next
- Coda/Outro
This is the end of the road for the song.
