Learning Advance 2022

I’m excited to play basketball with all my friends in the gym there. I think title be fun to play with some  friends who I don’t have gym class with. I think it’ll be fun.

We learned about trees at outdoor school so I think we’ll learn about trees again here because I think it’ll be similar to outdoor school.  And trees are pretty cool.

For this lunch we had: -Vegetables -Colesaw -Chicken tenders -French fries

Didn’t take a video of today. But, I will talk about something that I should’ve taken a video of.

Basketball is what I chose. In basketball something that I did well at was teamwork, I did this by passing the ball and congratulating my team and the other team. Something I could’ve worked on is my shot I was misssing to many easy baskets, I know this because I reached out and asked for feedback and help on how to improve it from Jackson. But, overall I had fun playing and I thought I did well.

Here’s us playing battle archery. Something I thought I did well in this activity was teamwork. I was a good team player by cheering on both my team and the other team, sharing arrows I got and congratulating my team when we accomplished something good. I think I could’ve worked on is my archery skills, but I think that with a bit more practice I could be pretty good.

This is the fort that Jackson, Seth, Tom, Makai, and me made. We made it in the base of a tree that got struck by lightning. We made it in wild and immersive. We also had the record for fastest rope ferry pull on the way there at 1:34 seconds.

Today my group and I rehearsed our story, planned a meeting, and revised and finished our story, and created to-dos before our next meeting. I think we did well at revising and finishing our script. I think I did well at taking chare and assigning to-dos and planning the next meeting time. Something that we could’ve worked on is trying to fill our time a bit better. We could’ve done this by practicing more, but we pretty much are done all the stuff we need to do is out of school such as building.

I like this photo because I think the reflection is really cool. I also like the look of the mountain in the background. The red chair adds a lot of colour which I think makes the photo look really cool because it’s really different to the other colours.

What does this tell you about going on future PLP field studies? To be prepared to work with everyone in grade 8 and in grade 9. What do you look forward to? I look forward to all the other places we will go on trips and if we will go in the summer where it is warm on the trips. What would be challenging? How would you react differently? What would you do the same? Manage my time the same as I did. I did this by setting timers and checking my schedule to know when I have to be on time and where.

Pan abode is like a warm winter cabin with the comfy seats, the fireplace, and the wood looking walls

One place I found amazingly beautiful so far at Loon Lake is  the fort we made because it’s very cool and we made it all by ourselves with only sticks.
