My favourite was the red ball with the string. It was fun and so addicting. every time I landed the ball I was so proud of myself. When it was playtime me and my buddy went and sat with my friends. We ate our food and then played a game called tag where, one person is it and they have to try and touch someone else the people who are not it have to run away from the tagger. It was hard to explain to our buddies what tag was but with a little bit of acting and a little bit of talking they got. I think they enjoyed it because they were laughing and smiling while playing the game.
When we were back in class we did this activity with poi's. We also did a activity on a piece of paper where the Japanese students had to colour the paper which had NZ things on it and also they had to collect signature from EPS students. We had to do the opposite,we had to colour a paper in which had Japanese things on it and we had to collect Japanese student signatures.
Now it was time for my buddy to leave. I was a bit sad but anyways she might come back again next year. So when we were in class doing the fun activities there was a speaker call for all the hoshino students to have there lunch because there were about to go. My buddy finished the rest of her lunch and we went to thee auditorium to take some picture with all of the other hoshino students. Finally they had to leave so we let them go but while they were leaving all the year 5 and six classes did a haka for them. I hope my buddy comes back to NZ again. I enjoyed being with my buddy and I also learnt lots about her. Maybe one day I could go to japan and I might see my buddy there but I don't think that is ever going to happen. For now I am happy in NZ!
