On a hot day in the fall, there was a boy named James. He wanted to start on the middle school basketball team, so he tried out. Gratefully, he made the team, but he was bench warmer.

Steph wanted James to improve, so they did many basketball drills at the local, basketball gym. First, James practiced with his shooting. He then practiced with his dribbling. Lastly, Steph and James did one on one's until James was able to score points on Steph.

Even though James was still a bench warmer, the coach noticed he was getting better, so he put him in for a few more minutes.
