They're ready to dance to the loud music in the festival. People are dancing with their skirts fluttering in the air, and their colorful wild looking masks.

Costa rica is a catholic religion ,A celebration of exotic lights . Costa Rica citizens bullfight as a tradition . People in mask is how they celebrate at fiestas while they eat delicious food and dance there feet off.

Winter Weather:

Costa Rica has no real winter and summer seasonal weather due to its proximity to the equator. Although, it does has average temperatures of 70°F to 81°F.

Overall Climate:

Costa Rica has an overall climate of warm but cool conditions. It's an tropical and mild place to be.

Ticos eat grapes and apples like crazy during the christmas holidays, it is customary for companies to give their employees a Christmas basket with grapes and apples.

Pierna de Cerdo Asada is a traditional dish of pork. This dish also be accompanied by anything, rice, beans, and vegetables.

Parades in Costa Rica

The festival de las luces is important because it helps celebrate the beginning of december

On December 26 the Tope Nacional de caballos horseback parade is one of the most important Costa Rica christmas traditions.

The festival de las luces is an happy and joyous time to have fun, celebrate, and be worry free.

The horseback parade is marked as a important cultural celebration in costa rica.

The horseback parade is important because each city or town held a parade in honor of their patron saint.

Christmas traditions

Costa rica&nbsp;coast is blessed with golden sand shaded by palm trees — and powdery white sand surrounded by offshore corals. Caribbean beaches that enjoy sublime sunrises — and Pacific beaches that glow with fiery sunsets.

Traditional Christmas foods that are eaten on Christmas Eve in Costa Rica are Tamales, Baked pork legs, and Especially eggnog. The Family feast may also include rum.

In Costa Rica Festival de la Luz&nbsp;(“Festival of Lights”) rolls through downtown San José. "This vibrant electro-parade features floats covered in multi- colored lights and lots of loud Latin music."

The typical traditional clothing for men "is simple, classic and masculine." "Men wear a white brimmed hat, a neckerchief with the knot tied in front, a white or light colored shirt, a bright red belt, long pants, and leather sandals."

The typical traditional Costa Rican christmas clothing for women is quite beautiful. Women wear long vividly colored skirts, white flounce or ruffled blouses with trimming in different color combinations, and leather sandals. The finishing touch is typically braided hair adorned with a flower. Some women wear an apron that matches their blouse trimming too.
