my other favourite thing about 6th class is when we celebrated woman international independence day by making project about independent woman and i picked Marie Curie and she was a famous scientist and i really like science

My favourite memory from my time in 6th class was when we celebrated an Irish Dancing show for St.Patricks Day. Before the show we spent a long time practising so we were prepared and ready to perform! lots of classes came down to watch our show in the PE hall. Lots of girls who performed in the show were wearing pretty Irish dancing dresses. I decided i would wear a red skirt, black shirt with long sleeves and black tights. We had to perform the show three times so every class could get to watch it! The Irish Dance that i did was called the six hand dance, In that dance there are 6 people. My teacher Ms.Billington was amazing because she taught us the dances and helped us prepare and get everything ready! I was really enjoying dancing with my friends and having lots of fun. At the end of the day i was very tired and had tired feet but it was all worth it in the end because i had an amazing day!

My favourite 6th class memory was definitely the thriller dance near halloween. The practices were very fun!It took a while to get the dance but it was definitely worth it in the end.On the day of the dance we all practiced in the yard in the morning, then we went back inside to have our break.At big break we all got ready doing each others zombie makeup,everone had black eyes, bruises and ripped clothing.[And if i do say so myself we looked horrifying!] All of the 6th class girls entered the yard the Micheal Jackson music playing........ we did our dance AMAZINGLY! The senior infants were so scared! All of the girls in 6th class had great fun that day so thats why I would say the thriller dance was my favorite memory!! I will never forget it! My favourite memory from 6th class would have to be the 12th of march 2020, unknown to us all it was our last day in primary school. That day we all sang together, danced together and had fun together, it was my favourite memory because i got to spend it with all my friends and our lovely teacher Ms Billington.

For me starting Primary school is like when a seed is been planted in a pot. My teachers gave me knowledge like a plant been watered. My teachers helped me grow , just like that seed growing into a small plant. After 8 amazing years in Primary Shool with so many wonderful Teachers and Friends i have learned to grown in many kind of ways, like a tree with lots of different branches. I am greatfull for all the surport that ST. Patricks have giving me and i will take that with me into my next chapter, like the branches growing its leaves. Thank you all Love Ava Moran.x

My Favourite Memories From 6th Class - Eva Hu

My favourite memory from 6th class was when we celebrated International Women`s Day, by representing our projects in the basement , each person had to pick one influential woman who inspired them the most and had to write about them with a non-written piece . In the basement, we set up all our projects on the table and decorated it with lights and glitter scattered around , every one was split into groups with other six classes,there was music in the background and some pictures stuck on the wall, different classes and teachers came to see our projects and answer quiz`s that we made , to make it more fun we decided to make prizes who ever won, it was very fun!

Some of my favourite memories over the years were Christmas plays, Fun Days and all the cake sales but my very favourite memory is beating Mr. O' Doherty at Connect 4!! :)

My favourite memorie from 6th class is, the time when all of 6th class went to young scientist. We had a great time exploring the different science experiments. I learnt a lot that day and had loads of fun with my friends.

My favourite 6th class memory was when we went to the BT Young Scientist event. We went in groups of six and had an adult with us too. We answered lots of questions and won lots of prizes. Everyone got to do loads of experiments and had lots of fun. One of the stands was the Nokia Bell Lab. They displayed experiments using magnets, mirrors, sound and light. One of the experiments they displayed was a little contraption with two concave mirrors and a little toy pig between them. The mirrors made the pig look like it was floating in the air. when we tried to catch the floating pig we couldn't because it was just an illusion. Another thing we saw was a science show. In the science show there was lots of tricks and illusions. It was a truly amazing experience. We had a lot of fun going on this trip and I do suggest that you visit this event one year.

My favourite thing from 6th class was probably the young scientist exhibition in the RDS. We went in January 2020. I also loved the train ride because my friends and i just talked and laughed. Aimee, Abi, Ava, Cadhla DR and Aoife were in my group. The actual exhibition was really good. It was so interesting and fun at the same time. My favourite part was definitely when we were in the the life boat and we had do do CPR on a dumbie and we had to save him from out of the water! We also got loads of free stuff so that was also a bonus!! Overall i really enjoyed this trip and i has lots and lots of fun!

My favourite memory from 6th class - Emma Duffy

My favourite memory from 6th class was when we learned and performed the zombie dance to the song thriller by Michael Jackson. We spent weeks learning the dance in our class rooms and practicing at home. We performed the dance on the 2nd last day before Halloween [which no one was expecting]. After little break we went up to our class rooms and put on our costumes and makeup. Then we walked out to the yard and the music started to play. While we were doing the dance some people forgot the dance and did the wrong moves but it didn't matter because it was still really fun and we all had a good time. I really enjoy dancing so this was a great day for me.

My favourite memory of 6th is when we would get into groups from drama and do plays and mimes because it was so much fun making them up and doing it infront of the class .I really enjoyed the math's games with Ms.Davenport and Ms.Billington because theyre so much fun .

I liked P.E because i,m really competitive and sporty so i enjoy all the sports we do :}. I loved doing matches in hockey because we won the league and then in GAA i get really competitive because i always want to win because i,d get a little bit annoyed and go home in bad humor .

My favourite memory from 6th class was influential womens day. It was so fun we all picked a person we thought was influential to us I picked Malala and we were put in groups and went down to the basement. Lots of classes came down to see our projects even Mr.O'Doherty . We showed off our projects that we made about our influential women that we chose, it lasted the whole day . The next day we presented it to our class .

In 6th class we all got to experience the magic of BT Young Scientist Expedition held place in the RDS . First of all we got into groups of 6 and headed over to the expedition in a train. After we arrived we got to check out the ECO system zone, which held all kinds of fascinating creatures. There was leaflets and book marks to facts and history. We even learnt that chickens are related to dinasours. We got to check out lots of science projects held out from other kids, ate our lunch in a giant tent and we got to choose a show like a robot war. We headed back home with a lot of freebies. It was an educational experience at the same time a very fun day too.

My favourite memory from 6th Class -Judith

My favourite memory from 6th Class was the Bake-off. It was my first time making a cake by myself and it was very exciting for me! I made a few mistakes, but it turned out all right in the end. My favourite part was the tasting bit! When I look back at 6th Class, I will never forget that moment.

Baking on my own can be boring because you have no one to talk to, to laugh with, or to argue with. Maybe it's just for me, but I love talking to someone especially while I'm making something. That's why i love baking in class. There's so many people to talk to, even at your own table! You laugh together while crushing some oreos, chat together while sprinkling some salt on your stew, and cry together while slicing some onions! Who couldn't enjoy baking with your buds?

When I first heard the word minding, I internally groaned. I wasn't a big fan of minding ; I wasn't responsible at all so how was I supposed to teach little children to be responsible? It did not make any sense to me. Nevertheless, I had no choice but to do minding. I decided to choose 3rd Class.Not too irresponsible, and not too grumpy and impolite. Oh how wrong I was... They were the definition of not-staying-still-and-acting-like-eager-rabbits. It was queer. I expected to despise them, but instead, I kind of grew fond of them instead. Even though they never listened, drew 'Simba' on my forehead, and thought I was a door, they grew on me. I started to actually like them. So I suppose minding wasn't as drastically bad as I initially said it was.

Drama is one of my favourite subjects as I love writing stories. I remember the Christmas play and I still love the script. Then there was the musicals we got to do at the end of the year, but I'm quite sad because we can never do them. I loved our script for the musical ; it was very humorous and amusing which is essential in a good play. If I can do one thing in 6th Class that I couldn't do before, it would be to be in the play.

I loved the BT Young Scientist Exhibition! From the bus to the end, I immensely enjoyed it! I especially loved the Eco Zone (and the Freebies!) and the VR section was amazing too. In fact some of the posters I got are still up on my bedroom wall. It was something so enjoyable and fun that I will never forget for the rest of my life! I didn't regret a second of it and I hope I can go back there someday.

My favorite memory from 6th class was when we celebrated international women's Day by holding an exhibition in the school. Our work was to pick an influential women that inspires us and create a project on her.On the day of the exhibition, we put up stands for other classes to see.There were many categories ,from science,education,political issues,climate change to art and music...It was fascinating to learn about their stories and achievements...I was profoundly inspired by these women,and I am very proud to be a woman.

My Favourite Sixth Class Memory-Kate

My favourite sixth class memory was the day we made brownies.The class was split into three groups, I was in a group with lots of my friends and it was really nice. Making the brownies was so much fun,I put the grease-proof paper on the pan and I also got to mix. Everyone had brought something in for their groups to make the brownies. Eating the brownies were the best part.The brownies were chocolately, gooey and delicious. It was a really amazing day!

My favorite memory from 6th class was running for the student council. It was such an amazing experience and I really enjoyed every step of it! The training day was so exciting, I remember I was quite nervous when I got into the Talbot Hotel incase I messed up. I had all the 6th class student council members there to help and support me. I was so happy when Mr. O'Doherty called out my name to be on the student council along with my classmate Emma was elected as Chairperson. It was amazing feeling and I'm forever grateful to everyone who voted for me and gave me such an amazing experience so thank you all very much .

My Favourite Memory from 6th Class - Laura

Sixth class was such a great year. I really enjoyed it! I loved my classmates and my teacher, but my favourite memory by far, was doing drama! I love theatrical stuff, and musical theatre, so doing drama with my class was very fun! I was very happy when I found out I got the lead role in our school musical, Cinderella, though it's unfortunate we never got to do it. However, I still enjoy singing and acting, and will still continue to do it. Thank you to everybody for such a hectic, strange but amazing 6th class!

My favourite 6th class memory was when we went to the RDS BT Young Scientist Exhibition in January . There were so many stands that had cool things to do and prizes to win . There was also loads of shows happening like Robot Wars and magic shows . By the time we were leaving everybody had loads of little stationary and little prizes and stuff . It was a great day and everybody had fun .

My Favourite Memory from 6th Class - Ella Huang

My favourite memory from my time in 6th class was when it was Christmas colours day, we dressed up in Christmas colours and celebrated the day with fun activities and movies to watch. We were allowed to bring blankets and sweet treats too, we watched Home Alone and had hot chocolate, we added marshmallow and all sorts of chocolates and sat with our own groups. One of the people i sat with spilled hot chocolate all over the table! Later on Santa and his elves came and gave us even more chocolate. We had so much fun and Christmas colours day was amazing.
