Cancellation and Changes to a Regular Booking

It is the responsibility of the parent to notify the setting of any changes to the normal booking, whether these changes are temporary or permanent and to inform the setting if your child will not be attending on their regular day.
Should you be cancelling your child’s permanent place, one month’s Notice must be given to the Senior Playwork Practitioner or Playwork Practitioner at your child’s setting.

It is also important to notify the setting if your child will not be attending for any reason and to note that you will still be charged for that session.

Dropping off / Collection Procedures
Each club operates their own drop off/collection procedure, and the Senior Playwork Practitioner or PlayworkPractitioner will discuss this with you prior to your child/children’s attendance. Please inform staff if your child is not going to be attending or being collected by another person. If you do not inform us of this, then we will be required to contact you to check that it is alright for this person to collect your child.
Collection can only be made by adults (over the age of 16 years) who are registered to collect the child.  We recommend that there is a regular person to collect the child daily. If someone other than the regular person is collecting the parent must ensure that they contact the setting and make the staff team aware of this if the staff team are not made aware of this the child and the person must wait until authorisation has been sought from a
parent/guardian.
If an emergency occurs and you are unable to get back on time, then please contact the setting by phone.
If a parent or carer is late for collecting their child, then staff will wait 15 minutes before contacting the parent or carer.  If they cannot be contacted
or the parent or carer has not contacted staff, then the child’s emergency
contacts will be contacted.  If they are not available and the parent or carer has still not contacted staff after another 30 minutes, then staff will contact Social Work and arrange for the child to be collected by them.
