I am originally from Italy.  I was brought back to Cincinnati, Ohio with some of my relatives by a 10-year-old child named George Rau Jr.  George was the step-son of Fred Lazarus, who is part of the famous Lazarus Family in Cincinnati.  I was released from their home in Torrence Court which is a suburb of Hyde Park.

I have other names too...

By American herpetologists, I am called the European Wall Lizard. By&nbsp;European herpetologists, I am called the Common Wall Lizard. The residents of Cincinnati began to call Torrence Court, the place I was released, "Lizard Hill" because my family grew so large in number.&nbsp;
