Self-evaluating is never easy! I believe saying you are good at something is where the stigma comes from. It is great to do an activity like this that is purely personal, and you can be as honest as you want.

I enjoyed this process and I have always felt this is valuable in the classroom. For the most part I would use a method of verbal self-assessment but actually writing something down proves much more beneficial as you have to think and evaluate. I will use processes like this in my future teaching. I look forward to coming back to this wheel in a few weeks and re-evaluating myself.

Understanding that there are multiple habits of mind is reassuring for me and I'm sure for other students. If you are weak in one area you may be strong in another and that is being an individual artist.
