The Puritans went to New England to purify the church of England. They also went to New England for religious freedom because in England the king chose the religion for the community. At the time he kept marring different people and they all had different religions so England would always change either to Catholic or Protestant.

New England has rocky coastlines which is good for docking ships. New England has long winters and short springs. All the winters are cold, but spring is somewhat warm, and since the winters are long the growing season is always short. There is rocky soil and lots of trees and forestry in New England.

Walking The Historic Trail
The Freedom Trail in Boston Massachusetts is a 2.5 mile journey that shows you 16 different historic sites. It shows places from Americas oldest park, The Boston Common all the way to USS Constitution. The Freedom Trail includes some of the oldest cemeteries, beautiful architecture and parks, and also very important landmarks.

Southern: The reason why New England is better than the Southern is because they had slavery going on for a while and it was a buffer zone.
Middle: A reason why you shouldn't go to the Middle states is that they had cold winters and hot and humid summers.
