Our Process for Academic Course Placement

Movement toward differentiation through our course leveling in • Mathematics • English • Science • Social Studies • World Languages (in Italian &amp; Spanish from 8th grade to 9th)

• Assessment of quantitative data from multiple assessments • Qualitative conversations between High School Department Chairs, Middle School Team Leaders, and Grade 8 teachers • Recommendations for levels to grade 8 parents will be shared for review, confirmation, and conversation

Agriscience &amp; Biotechnology at Trumbull High School Our 8th students who have been accepted to The Trumbull Agriscience &amp; Biotechnology Center will be receiving information about course selection specific to the program. All students in the Trumbull Ag program are considered full-time Trumbull High School students and can participate in all THS extracurricular clubs, activities, and programs. Bridgeport Regional Aquaculture Science &amp; Technology Education Center Offering students in the greater Bridgeport region the opportunity to enhance the traditional academic high school curriculum with a specialized emphasis on science and technology instruction as related to the development of aquaculture in the State of Connecticut.
