Doggy Day

Have you ever been so happy that you could not sleep well? That was me. First we were going to get my dog from my uncle's house in Indiana. It was a 3 hour drive. It was a warm and fall day with red leaves all over the ground . I was so happy because it was pick up day.

I was nervous and anxious. It was my second dog and I was scared it wouldn’t like me. I was scared it wouldn't like me because some dogs bite me and I don't like dog bites because it can hurt and they make me nervous.

Then finally we got to our uncle's house and we got out of the car. I heard barking and I smelled of hair in the air. I thought I should get used to this because he is going to live with me for a while. Next I walked into the garage and chose which one to pick.

 I saw my dog staring at me and I knew he was the one. His brown eyes sparkled in the sun. He was so small he fit in my hand all of the sudden and he peed in my hand but I didn't mind. I still loved him . Finally he looked in my sister's eyes and she loved him.

We were both right and he was the one because he is so cute. When we went home I played with Oreo and his red Cong and he was the best. We are best friends till this day and I am so happy that I picked him. And a couple years later he is 3 now he saw his dad for the first time and I was happy to see his dad he was white and looked like Oreo and the dad loved Oreo.
