Communication Skills

A time that I improved my communication skills was when we debated on burning the flag &amp; the first amendment.

The debate helped me with my communication skills because it allowed me to give info on why we shouldn't burn the flag. It also allowed me to speak against another person who thought the opposite so I would have to go off the top of my head if I wasn't prepared.

In conclusion, I believe that I should pass English 2 because I've learned how to present in front of my class mates and communicate with them. I also learned how to make eye contact and speak clear from projects that we've done in English 2, and I learned how to use evidence so that when you make a claim you can back it up.

Why I Deserve to Pass English 2

I deserve to pass English 2 because I learned the 21st century skills of presentation and communication, and the English contents of making eye contact and speaking clearly, and the use of evidence to make statements credible.

Using proof to make sure your information is right is critical. I learned how to do that with our "Response to Change" project.

This graphic organizer that we did allowed me to place down my evidence for my project. This helped me because I was able to prove statements in my project and questions anyone had for me.

Throughout my English 2 year, I learned how to speak clear and make eye contact because of the presentations that we would make and present to the class.

This grade shows that my class presentation skills have become good, but can still be worked on. This project was about creating a play and a class lesson, that helped me work on making eye contact and speaking clearly by paying attention to my classmates and speaking to where they could hear me.
