She is eight years older than me and even though the age gap used to be a disadvantage when I was little, now we are best friends. -&nbsp;&nbsp;Personal attributes/features We are quite similar in terms of personality. She is generous, a good adviser,&nbsp;she is always ready to cover for me, and so am I to her! We have always been told how alike we are, but I do not see similarities. She is short and green-eyed. I am tall and my eyes are brown. -&nbsp;&nbsp;Attitude and achievements She has always been hard-working and has come to a vital stage where she has almost everything that she wants. She has studied nursery, she moved out when she was 18 and until then she has been working to reach a comfortable life. With a partner, two cats and a dog and the twins are coming soon! I admire her because she is independent and determined. She might be afraid of what the future comes with, but she jumps in anyway. She is my best friend and my partner in crime.&nbsp;

Regarding the guided input, we must not forget that just because students are learning in a different language, it does not mean that content should be lowered. The curriculum is the guide!

Have you ever thought about how much language we acquire through this journey? These are called BICS and CALP

The whole class looked comparable to a high school's. In terms of the way the contents were presented it clearly had: speaking, reading, writing and listening. The setting was also similar; answering questions on a paper, reading aloud, etc. Honestly, I felt really comfortable because I am tired of the dull university learning style. We are used to listening and taking notes and at times we need to break with the established even if it's by going back to our high school times!

I love Austin's Butterfly video since the moment we watched it last year. I just hope to model this example someday to talk about assertiveness, critiques, and assessment.

We had to classify different activities about the Solar System, astronauts and space matters according to the level of cognition (according to the Bloom's Taxonomy Pyramid) The activity was quite engaging. Unfortunately, just a few people discussed about the correct place of the tasks. While I was thinking about their places, I also was going up and down in my Bloom's Taxonomy imaginary.&#160; Maybe if they had to had explain why they chose the place in the pyramid they would have participated more. Of course, we can not force anybody; still, it makes you think about their motivation about the subject.&#160;

All these support styles make sure that every child has no excuse to create output. My favorites are the sentence starters!
