How does learning in the hub work?

The hub, doesn't that sound like something from a science fiction movie? But it's better! The hub has been one of the most ecstatic, exhilarating years of my life. There are a lot of exciting new things to test out in the hub and here are some of them!

First of all the hub is a really awesome place to get to know other people because the hub is a collaborative learning environment. Learning has been seen a different way in the hub. Instead of the teachers doing all the learning the students do most of the learning collaboratively, through a method called the learning pit.

What is school camp?

Every year at the hub everyone takes a jolly ride to either Tui Ridge in Rotorua or Anaura bay. What is Tui ridge? Tui ridge is a action packed adventure at the start of the year with certain features such as a giant flying fox, high ropes, absailing, mountain biking and more! However Anaura bay is different because we all go camping and just have a fun, relaxing time
