Colonising space can open numerous new doors for humanity. Firstly, scientists will be able to access new elements and materials. In this way, they could develop new machines, vehicles, medicine and much more. As a result, humans will live more comfortably and will feel a lot safer. Secondly, continuous exposure to an extreme environment will allow the human body to evolve. For example, if we inhabit an area with limited visibility, frequently changing air pressure and drastically different temperatures, we will eventually adapt. Human survival will be prolonged and we will be capable of living in places that would have otherwise been deadly. Lastly, there is a possibility of encountering other intelligent life forms. As the number of settlements grows, so does the chance of meeting another alien race. Consequently, we will begin to communicate with them, exchange information, learn new customs, languages and traditions and much more. That will result in a massive expansion for humankind. Knowledge is the most powerful thing ever known. It's more valuable than any existing currency. If we can acquire information about new species and share what we already know, we will achieve an entirely new way of existence, one with far less pain and suffering.

THERE ARE MORE STARS IN THE UNIVERSE THAN GRAINS OF SANDS ON EARTH

The universe extends far beyond our own galaxy, The Milky Way, which is why scientists can only estimate how many stars are in space.&nbsp;However, scientists estimate the universe contains approximately 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars, or a septillion.&nbsp;While no one can actually count every single grain of sand on the earth, the estimated total from researchers at the University of Hawaii, is somewhere around seven quintillion, five hundred quadrillion grains.&nbsp;That is an awfully big sand castle!&nbsp;

In my opinion, though, living outside Earth is impossible. I think that way because it seems very unrealistic. Sure, scientists have found Earth-like planets, where we can think that is possible to live but they are far far away. Unfortunately, we don’t have that kind of developed equipment to travel to these planets. Looking at our surroundings, stars systems, galaxies, etc. there aren’t any options for a&nbsp;new home.&nbsp;

In conclusion, even though we live in the 21st century, the century of technologies, I highly doubt that we are going to live on another planet any time soon. The problem with this is not only the lack of highly technological equipment but also with the setting and the conditions of the planets themselves.

Living in space...why no? Technological progress lets us do everything we want as well as&nbsp;living in space. It is important for humanity as many people as possible to be involved in this development, to be informed about the new opportunity. Yeah, it is so expensive now, but in the near future it wouldn’t be.&nbsp;

Our perceptions are not only about survival and also about discovering new horizons. It’s hard for us to make our dreams come true, but it is not impossible, just look at the stars and the sun and be willing to do everything to make a footprint in the Universe.&nbsp;

The Sun accounts for 99.86% of the mass in our solar system with a mass of around 330,000 times that of Earth. Did you know that the Sun is made up of mostly hydrogen (three quarters worth) with the rest of its mass attributed to helium.&nbsp;If the Sun had a voice would it be high and squeaky from all that helium?

The Apollo astronauts' footprints on the moon will probably stay there for at least 100 million years

Since the moon doesn't have an atmosphere, there's no wind or water to erode or wash away the Apollo astronauts' mark on the moon. That means their footprints, roverprints, spaceship prints, and discarded materials will stay preserved on the moon for a very long time.

Space colonies are becoming more and more popular these days. The idea of colonising space is the main goal of many scientists and the human population has never been closer to turning this idea into reality. But is it good or not that much? In my opinion, living in space colonies can have many advantages.&nbsp;

To begin with, space colonies would reduce the human population on Earth which would be of great help for the environment. With less people on Earth there would be less harmful effects on animal and plant species. Also, the Earth resources would be used in smaller quantities because there is a great chance that on other planets would be found more or even new resources.&nbsp;

What is more, if humans succeed in conquering space, it would be a huge accomplishment not only for science but also for the whole human kind. Moreover, with space colonization the space tourism would collect a decent amount of money for experiments. Another thing is that while in space, researchers could possibly find materials that can replace harmful substances&nbsp;like plastic.

To sum up, the idea of living in space has good chances to turn into reality. Science makes progress all the time so I wouldn't be surprised if in some years people live in space.&nbsp;&nbsp;

The human nation has come a long, long way. Through various wars and economical changes we were able to rebuild what was once lost. It was a rebirth of the planet we have been destroying for centuries.&nbsp;One day we might have yet another new beginning but this time it can be in space!&nbsp;

Scientists have been trying to figure out how we can colonize another planet for a big number of years and there has been a leap in information since the landing on the Moon. There are a few problems that we have to get past if we want to emigrate to a different planet.&nbsp;&nbsp;

In conclusion, I believe that living in a space colony is an incredible opportunity for development and evolution. There are endless possibilities as well as benefits to living in space. What is more, with each passing day, it transcends more and more from fantasy to reality.

The time was fast approaching when Earth, like all mothers, must say farewell to her children.

I enjoy observing the sky and the stars. Just imagine how far they are! How many different figures in the sky? A magical world above us… But I feel it so close, no matter how far it is. What about living in space? I can’t believe it is possible in our time.&nbsp;

In the ancient times people had been talking about space only as a mystery. Now we know a lot about it and I’m proud to be part of this. Humans deserve to know the truth and to be a real part of the Universe, knowing its secrets and having this magical experience.&nbsp;

To begin with, living in a space colony would provide the necessary living quarters for many. Overpopulation is a serious issue that can be easily solved if part of the population relocates. In this way, less of Earth's resources will be used, and the planet will be able to recover from the damage that has already been done. Secondly, building a space colony is becoming more and more plausible. Numerous researchers collect data about habitable planets. Some have even proven that it is possible to survive on Mars. Besides, rockets and robotic vehicles are improving every day. Both governments and private companies like SpaceX do their best to turn space colonisation into a reality. It's only a matter of time before the construction of the first settlements begins.

The biggest problem is the lack of air we breathe. Space is not a completely empty space. It is a vacuum containing interstellar matter with a very low density of Earth and small amounts of oxygen. Due to this small amount of oxygen, a person cannot walk without a helmet suit when he wants to leave the spacecraft or space station, because this means that he will suffocate immediately.

To sum up, the idea of living in space does not fill me with desire and excitement. Colonization in space would be extremely difficult, I would even say impossible. Even if it is possible, which I strongly doubt, I would never go to live in space.

Living in space colonies! Is it possible?

This topic has been popular, among the entertainment industry, for decades. The space colonisations have been a plot not for one end two movies and books. For so long, this topic has been just a part of the fantasy world but now is becoming more and more food for thought for scientists.

There are lots of news stories, articles, blogs and posts about the possibility of humans colonising other planets, Mars in particular. The possibility of living on other planets is being highly considered lately. Even NASA has been working on this for quite a while.

Colonising other planets and living on them

One of the biggest concerns is how we will create oxygen on a completely new planet.&nbsp;Planting artificial plant life seems promising but the process of growth would take a really long time. Scientists are constantly searching for ways to live in space without space suits but that just won't be possible. Another major problem is transportation. At this exact moment the development of a space hotel has launched and the prices show that only the wealthiest will be able to pay the visit. That will probably be the case with transportation from Earth to another planet.&nbsp;The price isn’t the only flaw, but also the speed with which we will get there. We still haven’t figured out how to create a machine that travels with light years so another alternative would be freezing our bodies in capsules, but that's too Hollywood, isn't it?

We should cherish the Earth because it's the only planet we have. Spacetravelling seems very exciting but we should be responsible for doing the best for our planet's health as we do for research possible space adventures. We can live somewhere else if we fight through the technical problems, but before then, take care of our Earth!

There’s a planet made of diamonds twice the size of earth The "super earth," aka 55 Cancri e, is most likely covered in graphite and diamond.&nbsp; Paying a visit to that planet would probably pay for the $12 million dollar space suit needed to get there!

For many years, scientists have been talking about living on the other planets in our Solar system. One of the most discussed is Mars. Is it possible to live on Mars, though? In my opinion, it would be difficult but not impossible.

On the one hand, it is hard to move in space and just start living on Mars because it costs so much money to create basic facilities like buildings and roads. Moreover, the food would be in the form of vacuum packs containing all the macronutrients that the human body needs but there would be no things such as fresh vegetables and fruits, dairy products like milk or cheese.&nbsp;

I think a colony in space will take much longer than sci fiction writers think. It costs $10,000 to put a pound of anything into near earth orbit. That is your weight in gold. It costs about $100,000 a pound to put you on the moon. And it costs $1,000,000 a pound to put you on Mars.  

On the other hand, don't you think that it would be really challenging to live on a different planet? Yes, of course it would be. Not just challenging, but also adventurous and an unforgettable experience, especially for those of us who would be the first ones. Therefore, if science progresses to the point of inventing adaptations for life on Mars, conditions will certainly be favorable for humans. So, why not move in?

All in all, there are so many “ifs” and different points of view with advantages and disadvantages at the same time. Maybe in the future we would be able to see whether or not it would be possible to live in space.&nbsp;

One of the most vital things for human survival is space. Ours is, unfortunately, running out. With each passing day, Earth's population expands. We use more and more resources and continuously damage the environment. The first signs that we have exceeded the planet's capacity are already visible. Acid rains occur more frequently, there are millions of starving people, water is running out, and the atmosphere is severely polluted. It's obvious that we cannot continue to live in this way any longer. Luckily, scientists might have already found a solution. Space colonisation could turn out to be the key to saving the human race. Additionally, it can provide many new opportunities for development, evolution and expansion.&nbsp;

Just as colors are made more dramatic in sunsets on Earth, sunsets on Mars, according to NASA,&nbsp;would appear bluish to human observers watching from the red planet. Fine dust makes the blue near the Sun's part of the sky much more visibilke, while normal daylight makes the Red Planet's familiar rusty dust color the most perceptible to the human eye.

Many people are wondering if we will be able to live in space in the future. The idea of living in space is very ambitious and is widely discussed in the modern world. There are many news stories about the possibility of humans colonizing space, and apparently NASA has been working on it for a long time. But is it a good idea to live in space or not? I don't think living there is a good idea for several reasons.

To start with, it will be difficult to survive there. Under conditions of weightlessness, the human body enlarges, while bones and muscles become stunted if no effort is made to load them. Also, many astronauts suffer from eye problems. This is because our vision is very sensitive to the fine dust that is in space, and thus one can be blinded by vague perceptions there.
