I was born on 23rd April 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, Great Britain. I wrote approximately 39 plays, sonnets, 2 long narrative poems. My early works were primarily comedies and histories, then tragedies like Hamlet, Othello, King Lear, Macbeth, Romeo &amp; Juliette. In the last phase of my life I wrote tragicomedies, known as romances. I think I was the greatest writer and national dramatist, England’s national poet. I influenced lots of novelists and received a large amount of praise. ‘To be or not to be – that’s the question!’ I died on the 23rd April 1616 in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, GB. Elisaveta Bagryana

I was born on the 16 April 1893 in Sofia. My real name is Elisaveta Lyubomirova Belcheva. I was a Bulgarian Symbolist poet. My first verses were written while I was living with my family in Veliko Tarnovo from 1907 to 1908. Later I was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature three times. My first poems are ”Why’’ and ’’Night Song’’. They were published in 1915 in the magazine ’’Contemporary Thought”. With the arrival of my first book, ’’ The Eternal and the Holy“, I earned the confirmation of my peers. I also started writing children’s stories. My poems are straightforward, sensitive and serious, as in ’’The Well”, a fable-like piece relating as well she dug when a little girl to the wellspring of poetry in her soul.

Hristo Botev

I was born on January 6, 1848 in Kalofer, Bulgaria. My father’s name was&nbsp;Botyo Petkov and my mother’s name was Ivanka Boteva. My father was a teacher. I had a wife, called Veneta and a daughter - Ivanka. In 1863 I went to study in Odesus. Then I fought for the liberation movement of Bulgaria and freedom of the Bulgarian people. I wrote a lot of poems, songs, articles and newspapers. Some of my poems are for my mother or my brother, others are prayers. They reflect the way a lot of poor people in Bulgaria felt at that time. Apart from my poetry I am famous for my revolutionary spirit.&nbsp;I perished on the Vola peak at the age of 28 on the 1st of June 1876.

Lewis Carroll

Charles Lutwidge Dodgson. I was born on 27 January 1832 in Oxford, better known by my pen name Lewis Carroll. I am an English writer of world-famous children's fiction, notably Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and its sequel Through the Looking-Glass. I was noted for my facility at word play, logic and fantasy. My poems Jabberwocky and The Hunting of the Snark are classified in the genre of literary nonsense. I was also a Dean of the mathematician faculty at Christ Church College in Oxford, a photographer and an Anglican dean. I died on 14 January 1898.

William Yeats

I was born on 13 June 1865, in Dublin, Ireland. I studied in London. I wrote a lot of poems, essays and critical articles. I was the main driving force of the Irish Literary Revival and&nbsp;went along with Lady Ogsta Gregory, Edward Martin and others. I won the Nobel Prize in 1923 for literature. I had a wife and two children - Michael and Ann. During my life I wrote a lot of poems and plays ‘Lake Isle of Innisfree’(1890), ‘The Second Coming’(1919), ‘The Countess Kathleen’()1892, ‘Deirdre’(1907). I used symbolism which inspired lots of other poets, too. I died in Manton, France in 1939 at the age of 73. Today people think I am one of the leading Western poets of the 20th century.

I was&nbsp;born 13 January 1878 in Chirpan.&nbsp;My real name is Peyo Totev Kracholov. I was a Bulgarian Symbolist poet and a prominent member of the "Misal" literary and cultural group. Most of my poems are romantic and dedicated to the two women in my life - Mina Todorova and Lora Karavelova. My first (and greatest) love Mina died from tuberculosis, which greatly saddened me. She was buried in the cemetery of Boulogne Billancourt.Later on I met Lora, the daughter of the statesman Petko Karavelov. We were married, and the letters correspondence between us was considered as evidence of our ardent and vivid love, and thus was different from the relationship which I had with Mina Todorova. In 1913, Lora shot herself and I tried to commit suicide. The bullet went through my temporal bone, which left me blind. In despair over the trial provoked by Lora's death and the rumour that I had killed her, I took a poison and then shot myself in the autumn, on 29 October 1914 at the age of 36. This book is created in order to become familiar with famous literary influential figures. They produced some of the best literature in the world. Their work is still enjoyed by people of all ages around the world and it continues to influence modern day-writers and filmmakers. They will revive just for a while!

Charlotte Brontё

My name is Charlotte and I was born on 21 April 1816 in England. I am the eldest of the three Brontё sisters. My father was Patrick Brontё and my mother was Maria nèe Branwell. I enlisted in school but I left the year after to teach my sisters, Emily and Anne. I received a marriage proposal from Arthur Bell Nicholls, which I&nbsp;first rejected but after a while I accepted. My first novel The Professor was rejected by publishers. I wrote Jane Eyre, Shirley, Villette. I became pregnant soon after my wedding but my health declined rapidly. I died with my unborn child on 31 March 1855, three weeks before my 39th birthday.

My real name is Dimitar Stoyanov but I am popular like Elin Pelin. I was born on the 18 of July 1877 in Baylovo - village in Bulgaria. My father’s name was Ivan, he created a school in our own house and he was the only educated person in the village. My mother was called Stoyanka and I had ten brothers and sisters. I was studying in Sofia, Panagyurishte and Sliven. I wrote a lot of stories about the rural life. The most popular of them are “The windmill”, “Geratsite”, “Yan Bibiyan” and “Under the monastery vineyard”.

I was born on 9 July 1850 in Sopot. My father was a businessman and my brothers were soldiers. I was a writer and a minister of culture in Bulgaria. I wrote a lot of poems for Bulgarian volunteers and for Bulgaria - “Epic of the forgotten” is my favourite one. I also love ‘The Bulgarian language’. I think that the most influential of my novels is ‘Under the yoke’(Pod igoto). I reflected two historical epochs - the Revival &amp; post-liberation Bulgaria. I was named as a Patriarch of the Bulgarian literature.

I was born&nbsp;in 1659-1660 like Daniel Foe. I was an English trader, writer, journalist,&nbsp;pamphleteer&nbsp;and spy. Nikola Vaptsarov

I was born on 7 of December&nbsp;1909 in Bansko. My father was called Yonko and he was a voyvoda :) . My mother’s name is Elena and she graduated from the American collеge in Samokov, after that she worked as a teacher in a local school. I was studying in Razlog and I got a diploma for a mechanic, but I became a writer because it was my dream. The best of my works are “Spring”, “Belief”, “Duel” and “History”.

My name is John Ronald Reuel Tolkien and I was born on January 3, 1892, in Bloemfontein, South Africa. My father’s name is Arthur Reuel Tolkien and my mother’s name is Mabel Suffilder. When I was a little child, I was interested in literature. After the death of my parents I began to write works. I am an English writer, poet, philologist and academician, and I am best known as the author of the classics of the high fantasy. They think I'm the founder of the fantasy genre. I have many works, but some of the most famous works are the novels The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings and Silmarilion. I died when I was 81 years old on 2 September 1973 in Oxford, United Kingdom.
