We are now living in the 21st century, in which the trend of curriculum demands teachers to play their role as the agents of changes. The role of teacher Education is then very important in preparing pre-service teachers to have good teaching skills. Portfolio assessment may be used to maximize the activeness of the pre-service teachers, which contribute to preparing them to be the agents of change.
This book is aimed at describing kinds of portfolio and their implementation in Micro Teaching Class Some parts of this book are from the writer’s idea and many of them can be traced from the sources presented in the last section of this book. Regarding the fact that a book highlighting the practical implementation of portfolio is still quite rare, the writing of this book is considered important.
Some theories covered in this book are aimed at showing the reasons of the importance of implementing portfolios and giving such guidance of how to maximize the use of them. Although this book is written in English, but what are in this book can also be used as reference for teachers of any language.
I hopes the readers will get benefit from this book and acknowledges her indebtedness to those who criticize this book for a better future publication. All praises go to Allah, the Lord of the world who has blessed me with ability to complete this book. Appreciation is also given to Virtual Education Academy for the support of completing this book.
