It was Valentine's Day and Hunter, a big, blond haired boy, went into the classroom to see how heavy the valentine's box was. To his surprise, the valentine's box was missing. Hunter was pretty sure he would find the suspect. He knew who he would talk to first. Who would have stolen the Valentine box?
Hunter ran to the humongous class next door where Robbing Rob always was. He knew Rob liked to take other people's things. When Rob saw Hunter he jumped up. Hunter asked if he had seen the box? Rob nervously promised he did not see the box. Who would take the Valentine box?
Now it was lunch and he was heading to the cafeteria. He was in the front of the line when he remembered the box. He asked chef Lazum , a famous chef who worked for them, if he had seen the box. Chef Lazum said he would have never done something mean like that and he was sad that Hunter had thought he had done it. Who could have stolen the valentine box?
Hunter sat down at his locker thinking he would never find the box. Just then he saw Mrs.Groves heading outside carrying a bag. Hunter went to ask her what was in the bag? Mrs. Groves said it was nothing. Hunter grabbed the bag out of her hand and looked inside. It was the Valentine box!
Hunter ran to tell Mr. Leeser, the principal, that Mrs. Groves had stolen the box. When they returned she was gone. So, they ran outside, and they saw Mrs. Groves running toward her car. Mr. Leeser jumped on her to take her down. Once they returned into the school Mr. Leeser and Hunter asked her why she took the Valentine box. Mrs. Groves explained that the decorations were expensive, so she decided to steal it. Mr. Leeser said it was mean and that they had to fire her. Hunter had saved Valentine's Day!
