Darwin had a fantastic day at Trerice yesterday, celebrating their learning of theatre, the Tudors and 'The Tempest' in what felt like an actual tempest! Excellent behaviour and fun had by all. More photos to follow on Class Dojo/Nansledan Facebook.&nbsp;

Bouman have been fantastic geologists so far this year researching famous volcanic eruptions and exploring how earthquakes occur with custard!

A super busy week in Newton Class. Learning to evaluate our Art work, follow instructions in English, understanding the importance of prayer for Christians and learning about ‘Greater than and Less than’ in Maths.

Berners-Lee have loved their art topic this term of Pre-historic painting! They used a range of techniques and methods to build on skills and have enjoyed experimenting with different media’s. Look at some of their fabulous artwork!

"Tapestry keeps you in touch with your child’s day wherever you are"

Tapestry is an easy-to-use and secure online learning journal that helps staff and families across Aspire academies celebrate their children’s learning and development in Reception Class. As parents, the first day of handing over your child to the care of another can be an emotional time. As your child adjusts to experiences without you at their childminder, nursery, or school, parents continue to want to share in these times. Tapestry facilitates this by enabling a personal journal, or diary, to build over time. Photographs, videos and notes of special moments are not only recorded, but can be made available regularly and often immediately to you via your iPhone or Android App.

Parking We continue to experience issues with parents parking inconsiderately around the school, particularly at the back of the school. Please can we ask that consideration is given to other users. CCTV is being monitored.

Trevithick class have had a fabulous time on their art day creating 3D structures using weaving, threading and layering. They also had a go at some shadow photography .

Reporting Absences If your child is going to be absent from school due to illness, then please inform the office before 9.00am in the morning, and let us know why your child is going to be absent, and when you expect them to return. Children who do not arrive via the classroom door at this time will need to enter via the school office and will receive a late mark. After 8.45am your child will be marked as late (L). 9.00am onwards your child/ren will be marked as late after register (U) which is an unauthorised mark.

Google Classroom - Enhancing connections with learners from school, from home, or on the go.

Think of Google Classroom as your child’s digital link to learning. Teachers use Google Classroom to share resources, links and assignments with pupils during lessons at school across the curriculum. KS2 teachers will use Google Classroom to share homework with students and parents. It is a great tool for keeping up to date with your child’s learning.
