“Marʉawe !” Hi, I'm Pillan, I'm 10 years old. My family doesn't have many people because both of my parents died when I was five years old and I don't have any siblings. In my tribe, “Marʉawe," is a greeting in Comanche. I'm being fostered, so I live in the Comanche tribe and someday want to be a great leader like my dad who sadly died leading troops in a battle. My foster family says that my name means “God of the stormy weather”. They say that I got it because I was born in a storm but as I cried I lightened the weather. My life can be hard, but I wouldn't like it any other way.
