What they look like.
Wasps are insects. Most are black and yellow. All wasps have wings and two antennae. Female wasps have stingers that are less then one inch 2.5 cm long.
Where they live
Wasps can be found everywhere but Antarctica. Their homes are made out of mud, twigs, and rocks. All wasps live together in colonies.
What they eat
Wasps drink nectar. They also eat other insects. Female wasps sting insects to kill them.
Interesting facts
Some wasps don't have wings. Females lay eggs. Wasps can sting many times.
