Based on my experience, happiness comes up in really unexpected situations. I have always wanted to have a cat that I can take care of and pet whenever I feel down. Sadly, I still cannot adopt any cats as some of my relatives are allergic to them. Nevertheless, about a month ago I noticed a stray cat with a spinal injury near the entrance to my building.
Even though she walked in a strange way and could not make sounds because of her damaged vocal cords, I fell in love with her at first sight. She is an active and affectionate creature - once she sees me, she rushes to greet me. So, I am content when she waits for me and for some food I give her. We need each other, and that is enough for my happiness.
