9C - The Three Olympic Tasks of the Magical Tent

Tom says: "Me!" He enters the room and finds five targets with a bow and five arrows. The old man says: "You must score at least 40 points." Tom shoots the first arrow, he scores 9 points. He shoots the second arrow and scores 10 points. When he shoots the third arrow, a bird passes in front of the target. He scores 3 points. Sophia and Chris are scared. Tom shoots the fourth arrow and scores 9 points. He shoots the final arrow and scores 10 points. He succeeds in his task. A key appears. The door closes and Tom stays inside.

Another door opens. "Who wants to swim?" asks the old man. "Me!" says Chris. Sophia is happy because she hates swimming. "You must swim the whole length of the pool and pass under the three hoops, without taking a breath." Chris swims very well. He is on the swim team at school. He dives and passes under the three hoops. When he touches the wall, a second key appears. The door closes.

Then, he wakes up his friends. They enter the tent and fall into a hole.

Here comes the night. The three friends sleep. In the middle of the night, Chris decides to go to the toilets. He sees that in the next tent the light is switched on.

&#8220;To go back home, you must accomplish three tasks; one task for each of you.&#8221; answers the old man. &#8220;The first task is Archery. ABRACADABRA!&#8221;

&#8220;Where are we?&#8221; asks Sofia. &#8220;In the cube world&#8221;, answers the old man. &#8220;You arrive here by entering the magical tent.&#8221; &#8220;We want to go back home!&#8221;

&#8220;Who wants to start?&#8221; asks the old man.

This is the story of three teenagers who go to a campsite in July. They are friends.

The second one shouts: &#8220;My name's Sofia. I&#8217;m brave and athletic. I&#8217;m 14. I&#8217;ve got long brown hair and I&#8217;m not afraid to break a nail!&#8221;

The first one says: &#8220;Hello, my name's Chris and I&#8217;m 14. I&#8217;m clever. I&#8217;ve got black hair and freckles. I love school but I prefer my computer!&#8221;

And the third one whispers: &#8220;My name's Tom. I&#8217;m afraid and I hate scary movies. I&#8217;m little, blond and I like chewing-gums.&#8221;

The three teenagers arrive in the cube world. 

&#8220;What? Where are we?&#8221; asks Tom. &#8220;What happened? Why do you look like a cube?&#8221; asks Chris. &#8220;You too look like a cube!&#8221; answers Tom.

In this world, everything is square: the sun, the moon, trees&#8230;&#160;

Sophia is by herself. The old man asks her: "Do you like riding horses?" "Yes!" responds Sophia. "Your horse must jump over all the obstacles without any knock-downs", the old man says. She succeeds and a third key appears.&#160;

The teenagers reunite with their three keys. They open the magical door and ABRACADABRA, Chris, Sophia and Tom are back to the camp. They see their worried parents. The teenagers run towards their parents and they all return to their homes.
