Children can continue to bring a piece of fruit for their morning break. Children will continue to eat lunch in their classrooms. They will need a packed lunch from home or can order a school packed lunch, which will be delivered to their classrooms. They will have time outside in their class bubble.

Water bottles - Please ensure your child's water bottle is labelled clearly. Book bags - These come into school on Monday to get a new reading book and Friday to return the reading book.

- Only one adult will be permitted to come onto the school grounds from each family.&nbsp; - Please arrive at your allocated time.&nbsp; - Parents are not permitted to enter the school beyond the reception area, and this is to be minimised. - Parents are asked not to wait on the playground unless waiting for a second start or finish time. - All adults should socially distance.

Do not come on site or send your children to school if:

- You or your child have one or more coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms. - A member of the child's household (including someone in their support bubble or childcare bubble if they have one) has coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms.&nbsp; - They are required to quarantine having recently visited countries outside the Common Travel Area.&nbsp; - They have had a positive test.

In Year 1 - 6 we will be operating class bubbles. We will have forward facing tables in rows, the rooms will be well ventilated throughout the day by opening windows and vents and opening the door. Children will have their own stationery packs and shared resources will be cleaned or quarantined. Government guidance recommends that primary pupils do not wear masks in school therefore we ask that they remove them before entering the building.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) is an easy virus to kill when it is on skin. This can be done with soap and water or hand sanitiser. Pupils will clean their hands regularly, including: - when they arrive at the school&nbsp; - when they return from breaks -&nbsp;when they change rooms&nbsp; - before and after eating - after sneezing or coughing

In Nursery, Reception and SEND classes, much learning is through play and exploration of the indoor and outdoor learning environment. As a result we will be operating a year group bubbles. Each of these groups are considered as one group/bubble. This means that we have three bubbles. One for AM/PM Nursery, one for reception and one for Bluebell and Daffodil.

Class teachers will remind your child of their PE day. On this day, please send your child into school wearing their PE kit. We are required to keep rooms well ventilated and so windows and doors will be open. Until the weather gets warmer, children can wear additional clothing to keep warm as even with the heating turned up, room temperatures are likely to be lower than they normally would be.

When returning, our focus will be on our children’s safety, happiness and learning.

The rules regarding attendance at school will return to normal. Children must attend school unless: - They are too ill to attend school. - They have a shielding letter advising them to stay at home. You must not under any circumstances send your child to school if they should be self isolating or are showing Covid symptoms themselves.

- Leave the site promptly to enable us to manage the large number of people who will be coming and going. - We encourage everyone over the age of 11 to wear a face covering when on the playground at the start and end of day.&nbsp; - If you need to pass a message to a member of staff, please speak to Ms Sharma on the playground, or contact us by emailing info@hartley.lihtrust.uk or ring the School Office on 02084722523.

In order to avoid large numbers gathering at the same time, we will continue to operate a staggered start and end of day routine (see table below). There will be a one way system in place at the start and end of day. Each Bubble will also have a specific entrance.
