The objective is to preserve the historical and landscape value of this ecological site of 1,722 hectares. The Country House is not just what its name denotes. There archaeological remains have been found such as the Roman villa of the first and second centuries located next to the Segovia Bridge.

Paleontological sites appeared during the recent works of the M-30. In addition, historical buildings such as the remains of the House of Vargas and fortifications of the Civil War were preserved. The park is also looked after by the Town Hall of Madrid.
