Make it interesting enough that someone else would want to read that book!
I recently read Shadow and Bone and loved it. I watched the Netflix show after and was really surprised at how different it was, but also enjoyed it. I am now reading, and almost finished with Seige and Storm. The second season of Shadow and Bone is coming out in March on Netflix. I am not a fan of the second book and question if I'll read the third, but know that I'll watch the second season on Netflix and feel obligated to see the series out by reading the third book.
