Nazi penda nyumba sana,nyumba zile zenye zina tengenezwa kwakutumia vitu mbali mbali.

I love houses, houses are made of different materials.

Houses in Kenya are very good to live in. Some are made of cement and some are made of soil.
The sun is very bad for people who are living in a house made with iron. It gets too hot. This is our kitchen at the school that is made of iron.

Nyumba nchini Kenya ni nzuri sana kuishi ndani zingine zime tenge nezwa kutumia simiti na zingine zime tengenezwa kutumia matope.jua ni mbaya sana kama watu wameishi ndani ya nyumba za mabati.

When we make a house out of cement we mix sandy soil, cement, water and soils.

Kama wana tengeneza vyumba hivi inafa kutumia vitu kama mchanga ,simiti ,maji na kokoto.

This is how they mix cement:

First you put the cement on the ground, then you put sandy soil on the cement. Then you pour the water in the cement and the sandy soil.

Hivi ndivyo wana changanya simiti:

Kwanza unaeka simiti chini,alafu weka mchanga kwenye simiti, mwaga maji kwenye simiti na mchanga.

These are the things we use to build the house:
hammer, file, nail, iron and bricks

After mixing the cement you start building the house.

Hizi ndizo vitu wana tumia kutengeneza nyumba:

Kama nyundo ,misumari ,msasa , tezo na mabati.
Baada a kuchanganya simiti na vitu zinginezo alafu unaanza kujenga nyumba yako.
