How did the world perceive him and his actions at that time?

What did he change during the times he ruled?

He changed lots of things although three big ones were ~ - He banned all public protest meetings and closed down all opposition newspapers. - He declared that all political parties other than his own were illegal. - Outlawed all labor unions and labor strikes to make sure nothing interrupted any important buildings that helped run places.

Before Benito announced war on others he was actually respected in places like the United States and Europe for his views on anti-communism, his problem-solving skills, and his ability and will to get things done. After the war was announced though the world started to dislike/hate him even the country he had control of Italy started to want to get rid of him and that's most obvious with the way he died.

Beginnings

Benito served in WW1 for a couple of years he was discharged though after he had gotten a "war wound". After returning home he went back to newspapers where he would spread the idea of a dictator seizing control of Italy.

Benito would slowly get back into politics until one day in 1922 he gathered an army of fascists not to kill but instead force the king of Rome at the time to yield his government to them and make Benito governor since the king supported Benito's ideals he agreed.

Before WW2 Benito actually had lots of people who supported/backed his cause the biggest group was called the black shirts that did whatever he wanted they usually spread his views armed, unarmed, or with just their status. Others who supported him were anti-communist business people, property owners, and other middle-class job workers like teachers, doctors, and shopkeepers.

Alessandro was a blacksmith and was involved in political matters mostly spreading his views about how poor people should rebel against the people they work for to get better lives. Rosa was a Catholic teacher and was known by people to be very religious. Arnaldo was a fascist like his brother and wrote for fascist newspapers.

As a child, Benito was a poor student when it came to learning he didn't learn much instead getting into fights quite often causing him to get expelled from most schools he was sent to.

Benito was an atheist as a child, he would frequently cause trouble for the church and say things like Jesus and one of his followers Mary Magdeline were lovers, and that only idiots believed in the bible.

How was life when he was younger?

When he was younger he lived with his family in 2 rooms in a small palazzo (picture on left), during his younger time Benito's father would spend money on a mistress and go to a local pub these things caused the family to be quite poor.

When he was young Benito's father would take him to many gatherings where he would first be exposed to socialist views. As he grew up he went to work at newspapers where he could spread his and others' views to people.

How did he positively impact people?

Before the war, Benito did genuinely help people a bit as he built schools, colleges, and libraries to help reduce the illiteracy of the people of Italy. Another big thing he did was to help build hydroelectric power plants, he helped so many because at the time there was a coal shortage so people couldn't keep making power and without it, lots of stuff didn't work.

Death

Due to Benito practically running the Italian people into the ground during WW2, the people hated him. This is why towards the end of the war when Benito was found sneaking with his mistress to another place to hide the people found him and then brutally beat him to death. After they hung his and his mistress's body up in public at a gas station for everyone to desecrate and get their anger out for what he did to them.
