Thanks to this project students improved their language skills and had the opportunity to learn about other cultures and costumes.
The work did not only implied the adaptation of the original masterpiece, but the translation, illustration, production and interpretation of the music included in this ebook and the audio of the story.
Everything you see or hear in this ebook has been produced by the students, always with the help of their teachers, taking the A2 level of European Reference of Language as a reference for the level of difficulty of the language in the book.

As in a Movie

1. PSIHA

ašperjevo življenje poteka kar v redu. Vsaj on tako misli. Mama mu pravi, naj bo strpen do drugačnega mišljenja, sama pa to definitivno ni. Gašper si je nekega dne želel ogledati film in je vprašal mamo za dovoljenje. Gladko, brez razmišljanja, mu je rekla ne. Ogled mu je preprečeval znak +12, kar je pomenilo, da mora biti starejši od 12 let, kar pa ni bil. To ga je zelo motilo. Mama mu venomer govori, da takšni filmi slabo vplivajo na njegovo psiho. Gašper seveda ni vedel, kaj to pomeni in je izraz psiha "poguglal". Izvedel je, da je psiha nekaj, kar imamo v glavi, pa ne kot kakšen organ, je nekaj takšnega kot počutje, povezano z živčnostjo. Njegova mama je bila velikokrat
živčna in ni čudno, da ji je bil izraz všeč. Gašper se je odločil, da ne bo dovolil, da ga psiha pokvari.

ašper’s life was going very well. At least he thought so. His mom was saying to him to be patient to people with different opinions, but she definitely was not. One day Gašper wanted to watch a movie and he asked his mom for permission. Easily, without thinking, she said no. The movie had a +12 sign, which meant that he couldn’t watch it as he was 11 years old. That made him angry. His mom told him that these movies weren’t good for his psyche. Gašper didn’t know what this expression meant so he tried to find it on the Internet. He found out that psyche was something we had in our heads, but not as an organ. It was something like a feeling and connected with nervousness. His mom was nervous many times and that was probably why she liked the word so much.

2. DRUŽINA IN DRUGE SKUPINE

2. FAMILY AND OTHERS GROUPS

ašperjevi družini so trije - on, mama in ata. Ata dela v pisarni in ima nesposobnega šefa. Mama obračunava plače. Zna pa tudi lepo slikati. Kadar je bila dobre volje, je pekla palačinke, ko pa je bila slabe volje, je sedela ob oknu in gledala ven. Zadnje čase je bilo slabe volje kar veliko. Oče je veliko gledal TV. Življenje je bilo bedno.
V Gašperjevem razredu so bile štiri skupine. V prvi skupini so bile punce, ki jih je vodila Marjana, drugo skupino punc je vodila Tina, v tretji so bili Žele, Pero in Jole, v četrti pa sta bila Gašper in Marko. Gašper se je s Tino veliko pogovarjal po Skypu, bila mu je všeč, ampak v šoli nista komunicirala. Želel jo je vprašati, če je pri njej doma tudi tako kot pri njem, a je pogovor zašel čisto v drugo smer.

ašper was an only child and lived with his parents. His dad worked in an office and had a really incompetent boss. His mom was an accountant. She could also paint nicely. When she was in a good mood she baked pancakes but when she was sad she just sat by the window and looked outside. Lately, she was often sad. Dad watched a lot of TV. Life was miserable.
In Gašper’s class there were four groups. In the first group there were girls led by Marjana and in the second group Tina was the leader of girls. In the third group there were Žele, Pero and Jole and Gašper and his friend Marko formed the fourth group.
Gašper talked to Tina a lot but not at school. They often talked over Skype, he liked her. He wanted to ask her if she was bored at home as he was but their talk went in another direction.

ama je v nedeljo neprestano hodila v spalnico. Ata ni bilo doma in Gašper jo je zalotil, ko si je v usta vrgla tableto in jo pogoltnila brez vode. Vprašal jo je, če je bolna, ona pa mu je odkimala in odšla v kuhinjo. Hitro je šel pogledat na internet, saj je posumil, da se njegova mama drogira. Izprašal jo je, kaj je transcendentalna meditacija (ki je eden od stranskih učinkov), ona pa tega ni vedela. Vesel je ugotovil, da se njegova mama ne drogira.

om walked a lot to the bedroom on Sunday. Dad was not at home and Gašper caught her when she threw a pill into her mouth and swallowed it without water. He asked her if she was sick, but she just shook her head and went to the kitchen. He quickly went on the Internet, suspecting that his mother was on drugs. He asked her what transcendental meditation (which was one of the side effects) was, but she did not know. He happily established that his mom did not eat drugs.

4. ATA SE JE HUDO ZAPUFAL

ašper se je odpravljal spat, ata pa še vedno ni bilo doma. Ni in ni mogel zaspati in tako je slišal ata, ki se je zelo pozno vrnil s tekme. Z mamo sta se najprej pogovarjala, nato pa začela prepirat o tem, da bi naj ata varal mamo. Gašper je vse to poslušal in, kljub temu, da je hotel zaspati, ni mogel. Nekaj mu ni dalo miru, nekaj je bilo hudo narobe. Gašper ima le enega dedka in eno babico, ki sta sedaj v domu. Prej sta imela svoje stanovanje, a ga je ata »zapufal« pri mafiji. Takrat začne Gašper razmišljati, da je ata morda mafijec. Vse to je »poguglal« in preveril podatke. Zaključil je, da sta njegova starša vohuna, ki živita dvojno življenje.

4. DAD OUT OF MONEY

ašper finally calmed down when he found out that his mom didn't take drugs. But something still didn't feel right. He checked all sources to convince himself that his mom really wasn't a drug addict. Gašper went to bed though dad still wasn't at home.He couldn't sleep, so he was turning around in his bed. After a long time he heard his dad, who came home very late from a football match. First Gašper heard his dad and mom only talking, but then they started to fight about dad cheating on mom. Gašper listened very carefully. After a while he decided to fall asleep, but he still couldn't.
Something didn't give him peace. Something was wrong. Gašper only had one grandpa and one grandma, who were now in an old people's home. They used to have an apartment, but Gašper's dad gambled it on cards with mafia. When Gašper heard about mafia he thought that his dad might be one of them. He googled everything and checked all the information. He concluded his parents were secret spies who lived "a double life".

5. OBISK Z ŽIVALJO

o napornem dnevu se je Gašper odpravil v posteljo. Kar nekaj časa se je premetaval, ko je zaslišal ropot v kopalnici. Takoj je pomislil na mafijce in njihove sestanke. V sobi pri oknu je stal debel plešast človek s psom. Morilec. Iskal je Gašperjevega ata. Gašper je pomislil, da mora ata rešit, zato se je zlagal, da je na službenem potovanju. Moški in pes sta se začela oba krohotati, nato pa je moški od nikoder potegnil puško. Gašper se je, kot pravi akrobat, pognal v dnevno sobo. Skakal je po omarah in se ujel za lestenec. Zagugal se je in se pognal debeluhu v trebuh. Ta je pometal po tleh vse slike in zbudil mamo in ata, ki sta bila zelo presenečena nad nočnim obiskovalcem. Pes se je pognal v Gašperja, a ga je ta hitro stresel z noge. Debeluhar se je pripravljal na strel, Gašper pa je pograbil mamo in ata in skupaj so skočili čez balkon. Padli so v vodo...
Gašper je začutil toploto na svojih hlačah – polulal se je. Še vedno zaspan, je ugotovil, da so bile vse samo sanje.

5. VISIT WITH AN ANIMAL

fter a long day Gašper went to bed but again he couldn't sleep. All of a sudden he heard a noise in the bathroom. His first thought was mafia and their meetings. He got up and saw a big fat bald man with a big fat dog by the window. A murderer! He was looking for Gašper's dad. Gašper thought only of saving his dad, so he lied about his dad's business trip. The man and the dog both started laughing. Out of nowhere the man pulled a gun from his pocket. Gašper ran into the living room like a real acrobat.
He jumped over closets and caught on the chandelier. He swung and flew into the fat man's stomach. The man lost his balance and fell on the ground. As he was falling, he pulled off all the pictures from the wall. The loud noise woke up mom and dad. They were both very surprised about the night visitor. The man's dog ran into Gašper's foot and started biting. Gašper quickly got rid of it. The fat man was then preparing to shoot with his gun. Gašper grabbed mom and dad and they jumped off the balcony. They fell
into water. Gašper started to feel warm around his legs. He peed himself. Finally he woke up and realized it was all just a dream.

6. MOJA STARŠA STA DEFINITIVNO VOHUNA

ašper se je polulal. Čakal je, da mu bo mama kmalu kaj rekla, a mu ni. Z atom sta se v kuhinji nekaj pogovarjala, Gašper pa je prisluškoval. Ata je ravno pil kavo in si poskušal zavezati kravato, a mu ni šlo. Gašper je vedel, da se bo polil, saj se je to vedno zgodilo. Mama ga je spraševala, kdaj bo prišel domov, on pa je samo skomignil.
Spraševala ga je tudi, zakaj ga ni nikoli v pisarni in zakaj ima izklopljen telefon. In se je zgodilo: kava mu je kapnila na srajco in ves jezen je odhitel v spalnico, mama pa za njim. Zdaj je imel Gašper čas, da je nesel polulano rjuho v kopalnico. Zajtrka tudi ni bilo in s tem se je že sprijaznil, saj je mama pozabljala. Nato je spet slišal mamo in ata kako se prepirata. Pogovarjala sta se o tem, da mama vohuni za očetom in da ima razloge za to. Ata je rekel, da je prava vohunka. Gašperja so te besede začele zanimati, saj sta jih že prej velikokrat uporabila. Še naprej sta se nekaj obkladala z grdimi besedami, Gašper pa je šel v šolo. Nekaj časa je še stal na hodniku in poslušal
prepir očeta in mame. Mislil si je, da sta resnično vohuna, ker vohunita drug za drugim. Nato je odšel v šolo in noben se ni zmenil zanj.

6. MY PARENTS ARE DEFINITELY SPIES

ašper peed in his bed. He waited for his mom to say something, but she didn't. She was talking to dad in the kitchen and Gašper was listening. His dad was just drinking coffee and trying to tie his tie, not successfully. Gašper knew he would spill the coffee, as this always happened. Mom asked him when he would come home but he only shrugged. She also asked why he was never in the office and why the phone was off. And it happened: coffee dripped on his shirt and he angrily went into the bedroom. Mom followed. Now Gašper had time to carry the wet sheet to the bathroom. He had not even had breakfast but he had already accepted it, since mom had frequently forgotten. He again heard his mom and dad argue. They were talking about mom spying on his dad and that she had reasons for this. Dad said she was a real spy.
Gašper became interested in these words, since they had used them many times before. They continued to say ugly words to each other, but Gašper went to school.
For some time he stood in the hallway and listened to his parents' argument. He thought that they were genuinely spies because they had been spying on one another.
Unnoticed he left home..

7. DVOBOJ NA ŠOLSKEM IGRIŠČU

Gašper je čakal Marka pri trafiki nasproti šole. Vedno sta šla skupaj v šolo, ker sta bila tako močnejša, saj ju že navsezgodaj zjutraj nadlegujejo Žele, Jole in Pero. Ko sta prišla do šole, so ju že čakali in se norčevali. Marko in Gašper sta se poskusila izogniti, a neuspešno. Pero se je postavil pred njiju in ju spraševal, če vesta kaj pomeni Gašper. Ker se nista uspela osvoboditi, je Gašper znorel in zakričal NE! Vsi so bili tako zelo začudeni, da jim je čeljust padla skoraj do tal, še Marijanina skupina deklet. Potem je pred njiju stopil vodja skupine Žele in jima pokazal pest. A ju ni udaril. Poskušal je
Perotu vliti pogum, da bi povedal, kaj pomeni Gašper, a Pero ni mogel povedati in je zato Žele. To je bilo puncam dolgočasno in jih niso več spremljale. Nato so se jim Žele, Pero in Jole prostovoljno umaknili in Gašper, Mark in Tina so lahko odšli v šolo.
