Global warming is causing serious problems for our planet. Plants and animals are dying. Global warming is caused by human activity- so we must act now!

Over the past 100 years, the Earth's temperature has began to rise very quickly. This is known as global warming.

Recycling is another great way to combat global warming as there is less production.<br>Cars burn fuel and pollute the air with gas, so walk or cycle when you can!

Conserving energy can help combat global warming. Turning off lights, tvs and computers can save energy.<br/>Companies are producing washing machines, refrigerators and dishwashers that are energy efficient.<br/>

The glass walls of a greenhouse let in sunlight and trap heat, making it warm for the plants inside. This is what is happening with Earth; gasses are getting trapped in the atmosphere, like in a greenhouse. This makes the Earth's temperature rise.
